The reasons my cats loves this? Wide angle shot (more details to see and pick out), mostly rodents, and constant shot of the same thing. I think he get put off by scene changes, and close up shots. Thanks, its the best one I've found for him!
Yes I totally agree! It cant be changing all the time or it confuses the cat. With this video I think my cat just thinks the TV is a window to a magical world lol

Thank you so much for posting this!! We watch all your videos, I believe you have another channel as well. And both my kitties are obsessed with watching squirrels and mice in your videos. They prefer the ones where the mice are not too close to the camera, or else it makes them look enormous, and my cat gets confused. This video has the perfect distance from the camera to the mouse. dude, I have no cats but my dogs love hunting mice, so I put this on tv and one of them has been staring at it for like 20 already haha! thanks for the video, I hate seeing my doggos bored so it's nice being able to play something for them that will keep them entertained when I'm busy taking a shower or working on art :3

Hey I shouldve said in my first comment if anyone is trying to decide what shows best for their cat you can't go wrong with this one the mice are small so even on 40" they're not intimidating theres no commercials to startle your cat and make her run it perfect i hope that helps

My cat--the least playful cat ever--became alert immediately when he saw this video and the mice. He kept trying to catch them and was pressing his paws against my screen and sitting on the keyboard. I had to remove him for fear of damaging my laptop. However this video served as a stimulant to get him to play with some of his many, little-used toys.

My long gone beloved tuxedo cat saw a similar video and tried to dismantle the TV. His brother didn’t even evince any interest. Brother was in actuality the super mouser. Woe betide any small furry thing that sought warmth in my house. FWIW, pythons also eat rodents, but I don’t think they would react to this. They are motivated more by smell. Snake vision is poor. It would be interesting to see how a snake would react to seeing this. Snake people spend lots of money on their hobby. It would be interesting to start Snake TV.

My 2 cats have been trained to do their business in the toilet, can open doors via the handle and know wrong from right when it comes to things they can and can not play with in the household so little mouse in the thumbnail no cats are not dumb lol they do however love this vid ;-)

Yes I agree your mice are perfect but the squirrel on 50" or when the video changes some of the birds are huge but if search" little birds on a log" is perfect my used to like that one or "realistic ladybug or birds"but she just stares at me waiting for me to put on only your mice

My Maine Coon would make short work of that mice problem. Been around many cats, never seen a killer like him. Ironically though, he ignores these videos, while my non hunting cats are fascinated. I guess he knows it's just video
