Accelerating Gender Equality in the Water Domain: Multi-stakeholder Call for Action (9th WWF, Dakar)

On March 22nd, UNESCO WWAP organized the Special Session: “Accelerating Gender Equality in the Water Domain: The Way Forward” at the 9th WWF. The session presented concrete efforts on the ground that are helping overcome persistent gender-related challenges in the water domain. It included messages from high-level country representatives and authorities, and a panel of experts of the Multi-stakeholder Coalition. This event marked an important milestone on the roadmap of the global Call for Action in preparation to the UN 2023 Water Conference.
