Did anyone else notice the "wife can confirm" on the screen when he said "coming from someone who has used a 4 1/2 incher his whole life"? I love this guy's dry humor - truly makes the channel!
TTC is extra dope cause it’s presented so well, sharing the results or findings clearly doing big smart science man stuff, and still coming across like youre talking to a buddy. Yea.. call me a big wuss but I simply don’t feel like listening to a pf video sometimes. With respect to his consistency in what he does, unmatched even. But the repeating of statements during testing or product description gets a bit much, and isn’t required to keep his good methodology imo “Product is made in china”.. yes I know for the 17th time. 😂 Can we all just appreciate the tongue-in-cheek quality of the narration and script writing for these videos. Lines like “surely something eventually has to beat this tenacious teal trouble maker.” Great reviews and the writing and narration are just as good. Love that these guys buy their own tools as well so as to avoid any “ringers” being sent from the manufacturers. I’ve become an official fan boy, I guess (even bought the Amazon cordless screwdriver based upon the narrator’s repeated and gushing praise of the inexpensive and outstanding little “teal trouble maker.” 😂
This channel has helped me buy the right tools for certain applications without throwing money out of the window. A a contractor and small business owner doing a wide array of different jobs, one tool can't always be with you and do every job. Great channel, I hope it enjoys a long successful life.
I certainly have not saved money due to TTC, but now every time someone i know needs something for a high torque application I'm always prepared. Feels like every time I watch a video I find myself price checking tools I don't need.
i bet i could do a 98-08 corolla with it exclusively as long as it isn't too rusty except maybe the strut bolts those can sometimes require 10+ seconds of an old brushed earthquake or standing on a breaker bar also the axle nuts but only if someone torqued them with a big air gun last time otherwise they usually just need steady impacting. now a honda crank bolt forget it
@@Mister_Brownamen to that, I fix everything our Honda's with an M12, except axle and the big strut bolts. That crank bolt does not get spoken of anymore
God I love this channel. Keep buying as many tools as you want/can. Gives me something to look forward to every Friday. Even if I have to search for it myself with YT's trash algo updates.
6 months ago I only had a basic Draper impact wrench capable of 250 thats lasted me the last 10 years. Since subscribing I now own 3 expensive Team Red tools that are way more powerful and capable than I'll ever likely need. Thanks I guess. This channel is one of my TH-cam favourites and makes tool testing way more entertaining that it has any right to be. Keep it up!

And like you said, without a toxic community. If there were awards for such accomplishment, you'd be the Wayne Gretzky of sorts. Congrats and please don't stop

Here's a question, could you do a head to head for induction heaters? The sort of heaters that get nuts and bolts glowing red hot through the power of electromagnetic induction instead of using a torch. I see that they're all over the place at various prices and I'm not sure if the cheap amazon unit is anywhere near as good as the unit from Bolt Buster. (apparently there are a couple of bolt buster heaters, I'm specifically talking about from the company Bolt Buster)

I watch…not only for the valuable learning lessons provided about how manufacturing and manufactures have chose to move towards in production over profit, and the real world testing of brands commonly causing decision regrets or long lingering standing and staring in store aisles at the stores, but the creatively and extremely humorous narration that you provide alongside the visual experience. You dive in and go deep into the details that matter most and take a look at what is actually inside the “things” we spend hard earned money on, which is what makes your work worth the time spent on curving the algorithms. I appreciate all of that…and my gut busting laughs when I actually hear what you say with witty words are just delightful. I’m always gladly clicking video after video down your list for the amusement and educational enjoyment. Thanks & cheers! I hope to get to see how you “bring the sauce/beans” going into this year ahead.

It's hard to be "toxic" when you make such quality videos. If a channel is biased or flawed in methodology, that opens the door for negative comments, but you just aren't. Top to bottom, you do solid work. And you add some nice humor. Not surprising the comment section is good quality when the videos are!
5:00 I do commercial appliance repair. Bought the DENALI after the first video. It's been great for the dozens and dozens of screws Bunn likes to use in their coffee makers. You guys to great work. I wish I could give some negative feedback just to spice things up, but man, been following you a long time now, and its always great. Thank you for all you do. With your help I reliably find myself wanting new tools I don't actually need, but there remain far worse ways to spend money. Many of us see TTC mentioned in comments on other tool channels, unsurprisingly.
As someone who'll probably never need any of these, this channel is still one of my favorites, just keeping companies in check and doing it in an entertaining and scientific way! Just the best
I LOVE my M12. I'm collage for automotive rn. So I have to lug my tools back and forth every day, making weight/size a big factor for me. It has enough beans for just about everything I've run into. It's got me through the bulk of my suspension, brakes, engine removal/install, engine rebuild, and transmissions classes. For the size and money it's really impressive.
I agree, you have created a very nice community here and that is largely due to the very positive and well thought out content that you provide. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
Yo TTC today I have officially watched all of your videos. I've learned so much and have purchased your ranking chart. I'm looking forward to watching your videos as they come out every week. Thanks for all the effort and laughs you throw into you videos
It would be really cool to see a review of some zero degree gearless wrenches! My friend has been constantly raving about how badly he wants one, but I'm a bit skeptical of how much torque they can really handle. Love your videos!
While the information you share is invaluable to customers looking to make a purchase, I hope the tool companies are taking these critiques to heart and making improvements on future generations which is even helping the people who don't watch the videos.
Great stuff, guys. Kudos and massive thanks! In these four years you have established yourselves as one of the most down to earth and reliable folks who plays with power toys. Personally, I appreciate the discovery of the digital torque adapters - nice!

Thanks for all of your testing. When I am debating whether I need a new tool or not, I come to TTC to see if it’s worth the cost. I really appreciate the honesty. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I bought the 350 ft/lb Hyper Tough model after that first video, and unfortunately I had to return the first and second ones I picked up. Battery fresh off the charger sometimes it would impact, but a lot of the time it would just stall and the lights would blink at me. When I let it spin free and then grab the socket it would almost always impact, but when I held the socket before pulling the trigger (or when it was just on a bolt) most of the time it just wouldn't chooch. The second one I got ended up where it wouldn't even spin free when I pulled the trigger. I was working outside at around freezing, so maybe the cold had something to do with it? But that's a deal breaker for me, so at this point I'm just looking at the DCF921, since my other tools are already dewalt anyway. Really disappointed; I'm a sucker for value-for-money.
Another cool video. This one gets saved for me so that I can review it when I go to buy my next tools. I will definitely use your links if they still work.
Your videos are a great go place to find out what to buy and what to stay away from. Thank you for another great year, looking forward tio the coming ones :)

Hey, just wanted to say fuckyall and happy new year! You guys are really making a difference in the tool world and pushing mfg to improve and priced accordingly.
So, I've have the 1in earthquake gun. I love it. Sometimes on counter weight bolts, I'll fill the gun with hydraulic oil, and it seems to break the bolts free, when standard air could not do.
I agree with the 6-point box end wrench, this is the strongest tool you can use when there is very limited access. It cannot replace 12-point box end wrenches so you may need to own sets of both. I just bought a DCF921 so I hope it will do what I need.
thanks for all the videos and a merry new year! you've really knocked it out of the park this year and somehow even one-upped yourselves (already a high bar!) FANTASTIC VIDEOS!!!
Based on the testing, I bought the Hyper Tough mid-torque for the exactly the reasons you listed. It stays in a special box in the towpig labeled "You f'ed up but good" (with EZ-outs, reverse drill bits, various tapes and rebar tie wire, etc) for interstate shoulder trailer tire swaps. I will never need a second battery and it does not have to be all-day-use durable but it does not to remove and replace 6 lug nuts torqued to 100 ft lb then rusted in place for a year and 2500 miles...in a big damned hurry!
Glad to hear you have more Gen 2 Hyper Tough test coming. Would love to see you test their brushless grinder. You get the grinder for free once you figure in the 4 AH battery and the charger. You can never have too many grinders.

So, I've have the 1in earthquake gun. I love it. Sometimes on counter weight bolts, I'll fill the gun with hydraulic oil, and it seems to break the bolts free, when standard air could not do.
I am impressed with the craftsman wrenches.
Awesome channel--must-watch YT. Strong work, guys.
I agree with the 6-point box end wrench, this is the strongest tool you can use when there is very limited access. It cannot replace 12-point box end wrenches so you may need to own sets of both.
I just bought a DCF921 so I hope it will do what I need.
i ended up with 3 of these tools. the m12, the tekton torque wrench, and the craftsman wrenches. all impressive.
thanks for all the videos and a merry new year! you've really knocked it out of the park this year and somehow even one-upped yourselves (already a high bar!) FANTASTIC VIDEOS!!!
4:40 great to know! I’ll have to put it in the short list
Great recap, looking forward to see what new Ugga Duggas get tested in 2025! Enjoy the channel!
I didnt even realize it was friday.
Realest comment I’ve seen
Friday the 13th too
Thanks for all you do and looking forward to next year!
Thanks for all your testing. Two things I would like to see tested next year: Masterforce (Menards brand) tools, and right angle drills.
thanks a lot..... i just got the TAGVIT 1/2 Drive Torque adapter
Excellent job guys have a great new year 👍👍👍🍺
Just bought the hyper tough from your link. Thanks for what you do! Love the channel!
Just noticed 463k subscribers. Wow you guys have done well👍
A 4g63 of subscribers, if you will :V
Glad to hear you have more Gen 2 Hyper Tough test coming.
Would love to see you test their brushless grinder.
You get the grinder for free once you figure in the 4 AH battery and the charger.
You can never have too many grinders.
