You didnt mention anything about where you connect the ethernet cable which Im guessing its with your main router but my question is...does it need to be plugged in with the router the whole time or just to install it?
You plug the Helium Mobile hotspot into your home internet router and it must stay connected at all times so Helium Mobile users can connect to it and use it for connectivity. The more people that connect to it and the more data they pass the more coin you make buddy.
Hey I’m stuck on location screen onboard my outdoor miner why is it taking so long plz help !? I set up my height and address nd it just loading… it say I’m online no location
Hello, thank you for your video, thanks for your video, connect my device.. a question because on my device you cannot see any movement of the rewards if it has already been on for 13 hours
Does the helium mobile hot spot use satellite? The only thing it requires to create internet is electric? Does it give wifi to your computer or just cell phone? Thank you
No it does not use satellite. It needs to be plugged into your existing home internet router with an Ethernet cable and 110V power and it provides data connectivity to Helium Mobile subscriber phones to offload traffic off of the T-Mobile network. Awesome technology - Go People's Network.
Bro does anyone know why my phone doesn't pick up my Hotspot miner when manually inserting the QRcode info. It doesn't read it at all. If I do it through the camera it does register on my wifi but not through the actual app it's. Basically can't complete the last 2 steps. Any suggestions appreciated
Check your cables. That was my problem. I was using the wrong Ethernet splitter cable. From what I’ve seen, most folks problem is the equipment that they are using to connect the hotspots. Most times it’s not the hotspots that’s the problem. Once they fix their equipment, their problem is usually resolved
I think a 408 error would be related to internet timeout. Check you internet speed and connection but beyond that I would check the Helium Discord server for more help.
You're basically allowing your home internet to be used as their data link to support the Helium 5G network. Mobile plans are like $20/month and gaining traction.

Yes. They are garbage. I returned mine a few days ago for a refund. Everyone is saying they don’t stay online. They have a helium Reddit forum that you can check out for everyone’s experiences and possibly to get help

Does this give internet access to anyone other than a $20/month Helium mobile account payer/user?
Is the hotpot release wifi like the phone ?can i not use cable. This seem so complicated... than phones turning into a hotspot
Only Helium Mobile subscribers can access Helium Mobile hotspots - they offload traffic off of the T-mobile network and you make coin
Is mining Helium MOBILE with this only for people living in USA?
As far as I understand, it's only in the USA right now. I'm sure that will change in the future.
Yes - currently for USA only

I'm not understanding how this is a hotspot if it has to connect to your home's internet connection....
