However, my target niche areas are actually US (I'm an author and would like to promote my books to countries that use Kindle/Amazon - and Malaysia isn't one of them). Does TikTok control where they push the vid to during the "TikTok Jail" time? (cause I'm stuck in jail and it seems like the views are dropping..soon it'll be TikTok Hell :D Thanks for your time.
Yes, TikTok does control who your video is shown to. Depending on where you set up your account (so for you it's MY) that's where TikTok will show your videos the most. The best option would be to run a small ads campaign to target the USA. That will help you target the right audience. Hope that helps!

The most important thing is to create content that people want to watch! Where/how you edit the video doesn't really matter as much as the content :)
