too robotic, too stiff, too fast, not enough fun! dancing should be 50% motion, 50% emotions .. no emotions there .. they don't even look at each other when dancing

My opinion is exactly the same as yours.
Unfortunately Japanese and Chinese are quite poor at expressing their emotions while dancing.

日本を含め、アジアの選手たちは踊っているときに、自分達の感情を顔や身体で表現することが大変苦手であると言うより、欧米の選手に比べて自然体で出来ないようである。根本的な文化的背景の違いによるものかも。
