I araldited two washers on the pads on the frame ,only about 2mm. If you look at my seat it sits scalloped (dished in) where I sit that is due to the seat base bending to fit the frame slightly as the front is raised. Gives it a better shape to sit on.
Going to check my 2024 model to see if this can be applied to that. Well done for a simple resolution. Question: Has it done what you wanted over a long distance ?
I am not sure if you can do the same on the 2024 as I believe it may be slightly different. However it certainly worked well on my bike. It stopped me sliding forward into the frunk.
A great idea for your model of NC it has been a real pain in the nuts for a lot of owners! I will see if my 2022 has any play in the front lug for a small tweak. Ride Safe Ride NC DCT Dave & Butty Bach 🙂
Thanks for sharing, too bad I couldn't do that with my Himmy. Right now I am using a piece of black foam. But I am planning to reupholster both Himmy seats at a local shop giving me a wider rear portion, eliminate the downward slope and give firmer and more comfortable touring seats front and rear. The shop is locally well known for their excellent work doing all the ADV bikes in the area. They will even emboss the name or symbol of the bike into the seat. It will cost about the equivalent of 36 Euros. But I am thinking of getting the NC750X as well, and like you said, your mod takes the risk factor out of fixing the seat.Too bad more bikes do not have adjustable seat heights like the new Himmy 450 does.
Thanks for watching. I have posted a video of a modification that I did to my himmy seat that might help for the time being. That's a good price for your seats. Hope it works well for you
excellent idea, thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
I guess you'd also have to add the padding to the 2 round cushions on which the seat rests. Thank you for this simple yet very effective idea!

Be interested to know if it works on the 2022 when you have done it. Thanks for watching
