For the delusional individuals that think i'm playing this battle on easy, all i got to say is check when i get hit, im sure on easy the energy bar doesn't deplete so quickly, btw i never play games on easy not my thing;-))
Anyone with a brain can realise this hard because one hit you nearly die and I can see you have no upgrades also wow😂
It's very nerve wracking trying to get away from that bloody tank.
It is one of the few times a game has made me feel fear...

I think the fight was designed so that you can only narrowly dodge his attacks, which I appreciated. Made it feel more intense
by watching your video, i realized the secret is to use the tunnels. sit in the tunnels and wait for the cobra tanks to get close. sit back far enough in the tunnel that you can see the opening but they can't see you when they are driving by the opening. then sneak out behind them and kill them. return to the tunnels and do it again. if no tanks are around the tunnel opening where you are at, go from one end of the tunnels to the other. you can also sneak out, fire a shot a little down the road to lure them to the area and then sit in the tunnel and wait. trying to navigate around the streets is suicide. Thank you for your video.
This is by far the most difficult part of the game! What doesn't help is that your health never seems to replenish till after you've done the battle.
Ellis D yeah i understand what you are saying it took me awhile to work it out, best thing i can say is learn the radar to know exactly where to position yourself, and when you hit the tank, jus dont let the cloudburst getya ;-)

I ended up doing a similar thing for the last part.
on difficulty hard, it's almost impossible to take the tank on directly, but on lower difficulties that's the correct way to do it
we are basically taking the advantage of something developers missed over here 😂
this battle is so damn hard
I know where your coming from it's not easy just try learning the patterns and master driving the batmobile, im going to start upload some more of this game this month so subscribe for more content :-))
Yami Givo it's really not though I picked it up and played through hard on my first try and the tank battles are all I have trouble with and then ng+ on hard was a fucking joke after beating in on hard my first time, I actually bitch to my friends that it was to easy and that the only difficult thing was the tank battles and couple agreed but for the most part I got my head ripped off and they got hostile telling me that the game is to hard and that it should be nurf so that Batman dose more damage than the enemy hahaha 😂😂😂 sorry give me a second lol!... okay but yeah game was to easy

Ok, after 1 hour and more 20x, I finally defeated the Cloudburst Tank, this Boss was/is a real pain, but you my friend, you did it like it was nothing, you have great skills :)

Why can't I find milita when I died once? There's nothing more happening. Riddler laughs and say that batman failed to solve them and I only travel around the city for nothing...

I will try your technique tonight. I gave up last week out of anger.
ok after you take out the tanks in the begining you will reach a checkpoint to fight the cloudburst when that checkpoint activates you will gain your health and after you defeat the first phase of cloudburst battle you will gain your health again because you reached another checkpoint
That tank handles like a head of cabbage.
i know take little to get use it very flimsy lol, best advice go easy on the acceleration kind of control press and pump the brakes.. hope this helps;-))

What annoys me the most about this is how fast the cloudburst tank is and the fact that you need to destroy all the cobra tanks again when you fail.

I don't know how you make it look so easy.. but it took me hours to beat this shit. Every time I hit the cloud burst no matter what corner I turned he was ALWAYS right on my ass! Even speeding perfectly through the SMALLEST ally ways like it's nothing... like really??? When it came down to Tha last part I maneuvered backwards the whole time right at point blank range firing missiles and 10mm canons same time so I could aim up at his missiles when needed.. it worked....

Ok so after you disable his stuff face him on a head on fight?
Just open the riddler puzzle room in the tunnels before the fight, they can't go in there.

I was doing this mission, died once, and when I respawned the tank was nowhere to be found
How'd you get to finish the mission without restarting the whole story? I've tried restarting the game and ps4 multiple times.
Timeless soulja I know what he means it happened to me whenever you restart the tank spawns in an inaccessible area under the gcpd and it checkpoints you there
I don't know if this is any help, but I was having a similar problem with the Xbox one where I died in the cloudburst boss fight and when I respawned the riddler was talking, and it checkpointed me to Chinatown. I couldn't do anything, because batman kept saying I have to focus on scarecrow and I thought I'd have to restart the game. I'm not sure how the ps4 works, but with Xbox one the game will always stay running in the background even if you take the disc out. When I fully closed it (quit it) and then opened it again it started working. If it's the same deal with ps4 that might fix it.
*****ps4 disc has to be inserted or game will stop, but for me i just restarted from last checkpoint, that should solve it..........
Yeah that's the same with Xbox one, but when you put the disc back in it remembers what you were doing last and will ask you if you wanna start from there or go to the menu, and when you close it it doesn't fully close out. When I restarted it from the last checkpoint it never fixed anything, so I ended up going around to stores and everything to try and fix it or at least find out how to, and I found that just fully closing the game out and opening it again worked for me.
this fight is a mess.

The part which I needed, 5:09, has been cut out... I can't lock on to any of the four exhaust ports, anybody help?

+Timeless soulja To lock on to the exhaust ports you have to first get yourself near the tank and scan it with D-Pad Up. :) That is not in your video

+Timeless soulja Yes! I'm actually beating this game in Knightmare difficulty and I had forgot you had to scan it. I thought New Game+ would be different, but it has been just the same, I have hopes for a different ending!
how did you do it with such low armor, what strategy was it?
Nathan Beales The only strategy is try not to get hit while killing the first 5 tanks, then defeat cloudburst flawlessly, but as you can see I nearly died for my bravery, so I really should of upgraded it was a close call :-))
my strat was just excellent driving baby:-))
I actually had more trouble with the rooftop fight during the GCPD raid (hard mode) than with this lol.
Also why don't you use the thrusters? You can even use them when speed boosting to dodge.

Ash A I'm stuck too, but look you have to concentrate your shooting in the yellow sphere in the front part of the tank

Aim for the left then right side then at front of the tank and try to get in good position try to work out his movements hope this helps :-)
You no what it was , I never scanned the tank lol, was easy after that , (doing story+)
I died so many times on dis stupid mission .
if the fuckin turret didnt turn every .2 seconds it wouldnt be hard sneaking up on it
Timeless soulja i did upgrade it, you wouldnt believe me but i get 3 out of the 4 hits everytime, and on the last shot, while its in the middle of the missle synching up, the fucking tank turns my way or the tank turns a corner. i know im bitching but i have rarely played a boss fight this annoying.
PatchesMalone try to map out his route then stay lurking at the right side of Jon for that 4th shot 😊

It sucks many shots just to damage 2 % or less , I calculated if straight on to the weak points on the cloudburst tanks ; 32 , if you get it less than that then you own it
Perseverance will get you the tanks engine but I know how ya feel try upgrading the batmobile :-)
I have it maxed out on every upgrade that's available for the batmobile and still the arkham knight takes my hits like if they were nothing ,this is my second time playing story mode and both times annoying

How does your health regenerate twice during the battle? You almost die twice, the video cuts then you have full health again? I guess this video is 2 or 3 attempts stitched together?
and yes i nearly died twice on both occasion's it was the case of squeaky bum time
+Timeless soulja can you help I'm a bit further on (defeated the cloudburst after a few tries) but stuck. Just used batmobile to wind a fan turbine down then blow up a wall via remote control but batman is stuck - a sentry gun at bottom of lift shaft makes it impassable so i can't get batman back into the car to progress??
+ntube7 i cant really remember what i did but i you need to use the remote batarang then make turbine level with enterance to exist
+Timeless soulja don't worry done that part now I'm facing up to the knight in a massive drilling machine having to reverse away

This is so fucking difficult
I remember playing this walkthrough and I died so many times playing this one
this was by far my favorite fight in the game, the damn tank could keep up with the batmobile, and when I saw that laser weapon fire after taking nothing but explosive shells and rockets through the game my reaction was "Laser cannons? IT HAS LASER CANNONS!" LoL
Still a great game, I enjoyed it. Don't care what anyone says negatively, the only things I didn't like were the villains not shown being dealt with, Cat woman and Batmans relationship ending the way it did (although her DLC might clear that up), mixing up Tim Drake with Barbara instead of Nightwing and the ambiguity of the true ending...I want to know who Nightmare Bats is!
And as for the whole "no boss battles" crap, i say blame it on the people who said Rocksteady cant do boss battles good and that the battles in other games were "Lame" and "uninspired" including the Mr. Freeze battle and "would be better dumping them altogether"....apparently Rocksteady was listening.
