लाइ शिंगुआंग वरिष्ठ हाई स्कूल का छात्र है। बहुत छोटी उम्र में वह एक समझदार और सुशील लड़का था। उसके माता-पिता और शिक्षक उसको बहुत चाहते थे। माध्यमिक शाला में जाते समय वह इंटरनेट कंप्यूटर खेलों में आसक्त हो गया था। वह इंटरनेट कैफे जाने के लिए अक्सर अपनी कक्षाएं छोड़ने लगा। उसके माता-पिता ने उसकी इंटरनेट गेमिंग की लत छुड़वाने में उसकी मदद करने की भरसक कोशिश की। दुर्भाग्य से लाइ शिंगुआंग की लत बुरी से और अधिक बुरी हो गयी। वह हतोत्साहित हो गया और धीरे-धीरे एक बदमाश लड़के में बदल गया.....। जब लाइ शिंगुआंग के माता-पिता को लगा कि वे अब कुछ नहीं कर पायेंगे, तब उन्होंने सुना कि परमेश्वर लोगों की रक्षा करने, इंटरनेट गेम की लत तोड़ने और शैतान के भ्रष्टाचार के चंगुल से छूटने में मदद करने में सक्षम हैं। परिणामस्वरूप, उन्होंने परमेश्वर में विश्वास करने का निर्णय लिया और परमेश्वर द्वारा अपने पुत्र की रक्षा की आशा करने लगे। परमेश्वर के वचनों से उन्होंने मानवजाति के भ्रष्टाचार और चरित्रहीनता के स्रोत के बारे में जाना। उन्होंने मनुष्य के अंधकार और बुराई के सत्य को देखा और जाना कि केवल परमेश्वर ही लोगों की रक्षा कर सकता है और शैतान के ढाये भ्रष्टाचार और कष्टों से छुटकारा दिला सकता है। शिंगुआंग को बस इतना करना था कि परमेश्वर में विश्वास करे और सत्य को समझे, और फिर वह अपनी इंटरनेट की लत को छोड़ पायेगा। परिणामस्वरूप, उन्होंने शिंगुआंग तक सुसमाचार पहुंचाया और शिंगुआंग को परमेश्वर के वचन पढ़ने को प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना की और उनसे अपने पुत्र की रक्षा करने और इंटरनेट गेम की लत छोड़ने में उसकी मदद करने की याचना की...। थोड़े झगड़े-फसाद के बाद, शिंगुआंग ने परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना शुरू कर दी और उन पर भरोसा करने लगा। परमेश्वर के वचनों के मार्गदर्शन में, अंत में उसने अपनी इंटरनेट गेम की लत को छोड़ दिया और शैतान के भ्रष्टाचार और कष्ट से स्वयं को छुड़ा लिया। यह बेटा जो इंटरनेट गेम और इंटरनेट कैफे में बुरी तरह खोया हुआ था, आखिरकार घर लौट आया।
