You should try hunting coues in the high country. It’s a fun experience
we chase them all the way up to unit 8.
The Mountain Project nice unit 8 is a really cool unit. I got my coues deer last year near the top of the Chiricahuas. Looks really similar to chases coues from the last video.

Another awesome hunt there fellas, wish I was there with you. I love hanging out with my culture like that. But you guys ate some great food, they treated you awesome I'm guessing. What a great time!! Amazing bucks and the country looks amazing! One question though, you guys haven't gutted a single deer on the mtn. what's the reason for that? Better management? Predators? It looks like it's pretty warm. Wow nice shed!!!
They’re just cleaner to carry out that way. They’re small enough animals to throw over your back, but if you empty the belly you’ll be a mess when you get out. Once out, the vaquero is taking care of everything.

Thanks Phil! It was some big country. It's all relevant to how close the truck is vs the time it takes to break one down. And you know how little they are.

Wow, four of the biggest Coues Ive seen, and on one hunt!! Great job. I miss Southern AZ Coues hunting as soon as the weeks over. The glassing, heavy packs, hiking, climbing very addictive. What kind of management plan do they have to produce so many big bucks in one area?
It hadn't been hunted in 8 years. And it's a looooong travel down there

they are tiny deer and we just hauled them out that way and got every bit of usable meat and some organs too off them
