If you ever want to "run away", you can run to my house!!! We can cook and eat all day! I have enjoyed several of your recipes. Thanks so much for sharing with all of us!
Mmmmm, I love hot chocolate, especially when it's cold outside. I'll have to try this in the fall/winter weather here in Pennsylvania. I see you've been to Annakeesta, a place where my husband and I like to go to Tennessee.
Oh WOW Tom!!!! I can't wait to get my stuff to make this you Guys are So Sweet to make all this Good stuff and share with everyone!! I absolutely love to come sit at your all table LoL 😂😂❤️🤗❤️😚😚 God Bless You Both ❤️
Yes! It's a rainy night here in Kentucky. It might be perfect to enjoy as we wind down before bed tonight. Thank you so much for watching our channel. We appreciate that you are at the table with us.
Looks delicious! I usually use Frys cocoa, but l would like to try this with the butter and corn starch added. If you want to enhance your flavor, add a pinch of salt and some vanilla. Or, sometimes even a little peppermint extract is nice.
The Peppermint extract, especially, sounds like a wonderful addition. I love peppermint! The salt and vanilla, I'm sure, are also a flavor boost. Thanks for that tip. We really do appreciate that you are watching our channel. We hope you are having a great day.
It's a bit warm for us for hot chocolate right now. But when the fall season rolls around, and then winter time, we really enjoy this. Thank you so much for watching our video.
As far as hot chocolate goes there is good and then there is better. This must be the better version. It sure looks delicious. I comment this way because in at least one of your videos I've seen a box of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate on your counter. But that's not too bad. When it's cold and you want hot chocolate it may just save the day. Got a question for you Tom. I've never seen a recipe where cornstarch was initially put directly into something hot. Do you know of another recipe that does that? It was always my understanding that you had to dissolve cornstarch in cold water, or other liquid, before adding it to something hot for the thickening power to really work. This is new to me. I know you can put cornstarch onto meat when marinating or just preparing for cooking, frying /sautéing mostly where it goes directly into a heated pan. It's done in Chinese cooking all of the time but in those instances it has an entirely different purpose than thickening. I know you've been using this method for a while so we know it works. It just got me curious.
I feel deprived. I'm 61 years old & I've never had a hot chocolate/cocoa that didn't come from a pre-made powdered mix...or from Dunkin Donuts (which is, I'm sure, a mix too but I LOVE it) 😁
All you need is cocoa and sugar add 4 teaspoons of cocoa to4 teaspoons of sugar a cup of milk a splash of vanilla no butter and definitly no cornstarch yuck

I love your mugs! A good mug of hot chocolate begins with a good mug! lol What fat content is the milk you used?
My homemade hot chocolate is just milk and Coco and sugar. Sooo good, then top with marshmallows
Nothing better on cold days!
