He had the ball in his hands and they would leave him wide open and attack him on defense. They would clog the lane up so no one else could score. So he was about to be a 6th man so you know more than sam presti? After that series nobody really wanted him because they saw his limitations in a playoff setting not a regular season setting.

This trade will go down as Presti's 2nd worst blunder next to trading Harden. Giddey is a tremendously talented 21 year old who is rapidly improving and Caruso is 30 and averages less than 7 points. This was a horrific trade for OKC and makes them significantly worse.
I don’t see the bulls keeping him long term. The city will not tolerate players who play bad defense. That’s part of why we liked Caruso, even though he’s not a high level player. He could guard 3-4 positions if asked to, has quick hands to get steals, and hustles for loose balls. I don’t see them getting that out of Josh Giddey

Giddy's best weapon is his playmaking but he can't use it while Shai is on the court at the ame time. He's also an inconsistent shooter and often times being left alone behind the arc on purpose so he would take a low % shot. He's an average defender as well. What Caruso brings to the table is what OKC needs.
