電車壽命短，model s 5年車已問題多多，用番油車先，令願買部E單車 配合日常用，等遲1兩年先考慮EV車
其實依家好多車行都 mark up 晒啲價錢, 我相信回復正常之後應該冇咁貴, 喺美國差滿Tesla 都係大概需要$6美金, 車嘅價錢貴但係gas可以慳好多, 如果唔買Tesla我會睇吓Mini cooper 😮
Kia is a must try. I convert to electric car 4 years ago. It’s a no return. Must look at the range. Low price usually have low range. Low range is a non starter la.
I used Tesla in HK, n Kia in uk now. Kia has no fancy stuff like Tesla and no over the air updates like Tesla, but functionally I’m happy with it. Tesla too expensive in uk now. Pick Kia due to their experience, good value with the long range, and it’s bold 7 years warranty here.
Charging is not a problem. I have no charger at home. But I charge it free in Lidl, and when I need to travel far I go to a paid charger nearby. There are apps help you locate the nearest charger n car has built in function to locate the nearest charger too. Last time I travel far n power dropped to 10%, I follow the apps to locate a fastest charger n only cost me ~£15 n a coffees time to power up enough to go home

@@ipacket 唔同公司唔同charger speed 收費會唔同，果次收費由電池只有10% 去到差唔多200miles. 係100kW 的charger ，但我95% usage 全部係用免費的Lidl charger. 電車習慣同油車唔同，一有機會/時間就去叉，平日出入唔洗等叉滿。

I bought a brand new vw id.3 (58kW) through drivethedeal (when there were still gov grant) for ~ £27k. there is no one pedal driving and the seat and software are a bit crap but otherwise I love it! The wait was long though (we waited 8 months!!!)

I bought used Hyundai i10 after researched EV and took test drive Renault Zoe EV 2017 near half year ago. I agreed your point. Thus I gave up EV today and chose a traditional petrol. May use this Hyundai in 3-4 years. Believe technology will be more mature (e.g. can run over 200 miles) and more people bought EV. Under mass production, price will be more affordable to everyone.
After 10 months waiting, I got my Hyundai Ioniq5 in Dec 2021. It has ran 10000km up till today July 10, and I save $1500+ Canadian dollars on gasoline compare to my old CR-V. I usually plug Ioniq5 at home overnight for charging, just normal electric outlet, monthly electric bill goes up $40 only.
Your Show confirms once more for me that this is still a pretty new n still evolving technology and thus I will wait.

recently i found my dream car has a electric version, e-hummer. 4 wheels steering, 100km in 3s. most concern is the battery life span and replacement.
我渣左Nissan Leaf 一年，而家用octopus Go 個plan, 5p 一度電，充滿40kw 先2磅， 可以行120-160miles.
How about Hybrid?

我都用緊Nissan leaf ， 比美SUV 容量！ 買電車需要2-3年時間回本， 但當它越行得多就越慳錢，個種感受同油車比較完全係相反！電車係接近零維修既機器， 和油車經常要保養又係另一回事！ 還有大家忽略既事， 電車開冷暖氣係超快輸出，不需要等待。還可以停車其間狂開冷暖氣都不怕食油傷車!

好多utility company 都有電車night charging plan, charge 滿架id4 好似都係40p, 如果想代步，不如考慮下plug in hybrid, 平日短途都係用電，長途先會用到油。

如果考慮EV CAR, 可以另外考慮electric scooter/motorcycle電動電單車🛵. 剛剛出咗隻silence S01 connected 可以行80 miles, 揸佢只要有CBT training 唔需要full car license. Total price 4k~5k. 另外要型可以考慮BMW CE04 (price ~11k) . 行80miles range max時速約70mph. 兩隻叉電都係家三腳插頭 6-8hr fully charged.
早揸早享受，揸過後返唔到轉頭😁阿菲有冇試車，電車女仔揸十分之適合👍貴買貴賣所以價錢不是最大問題😎😎

I have never seen a charging station nearby
and i dont feel safe to park a car somewhere outside and keep charging( The charger would broke within like 10 secs by hips or burglars)

少過300Km的電車都不要考慮，很多時實際用只建議充80%，又有水份，即只有200km左右。

Insurance for Tesla is too expensive.
German EV, unforeseeable risk for lots of electronic issues, otherwise, may consider VW eGolf.

I tested drive many ev vehicles this year. None of them satisfied my 1st impression. I4 is the best ev car I have tested it so far. But if you have two cars then buy a decent ev vehicle is a good deal. Zoe is a good choice in term of range and price.

I think you forgot to mention about maintenance cost. An EV has close to zero maintenance cost. I have been driving a 2018 Nissan Leaf for over 4 years. It is a very good city car and is very cheap to operate if you can charge it overnight at home.

Stevo can consider buying an old diesel, eg. any vw 1.9 tdi/ sdi or Retired london taxis with em old Diesel engines, they can run on vegetable oil or Filtrated used chip fat oil which according to car throttle, is around £1/L. A cheap alternative😝 no need to buy an expensive electric car

In my opinion, in future when the EV technology is even more mature, the EV car price won't be going down. Why? Take a look in history, old cars like carburator to fuel injection. Compare the old car and the latest car price, car price is going up. Old days, present days, future, your salary buying a car is always not cheap. Imagine you are earning $50k per year now buying a 35k car and in future when you are earning 80k, I believe the car price won't be 35k anymore. EV less maintenance and fuel consumption vs electric energy, electric is still cheaper to run. Well, at least in our country, we are paying 11p/kw.
