Ethan, I don't remember if I have written about this before (I've posted a comment or two on a video or two). There is a neighbor renting a house where the fence is a few feet aligned with this fence (a few feet of shared fence), the patio of this house (a concrete slab with a ceiing from the floor above) is maybe 55 feet from the house she rents. I have no words for what it is like, her use of hard drugs. I feel like it interferes with my intuition and/or overloads me so that I am more and more picking up on violence and potential violence (most of it at a distance), without full clarity about what it is. For example, a student at a high school within two hours of here shot teachers and other students on a Wednesday a few weeks ago. The Sunday before that, spirit was showing me through my tattoos there was gun violence about to happen and it was coming through as large-scale. I wrote to a friend, "this tattoo is itching, that tattoo is itching, this other tattoo is itching, and I know this is about gun violence," but I didn't know exactly when, where, and here I think about being in the trenches. I feel I live my life in the trenches, and clarity is important, but there is so much going on right now, I have even had to close the shop (needing a break from doing readings, I almost feel like my intuition is shut off). I feel contaminated by her drug use and the fumes, and that is harming my dog, too, she breathes that mess, too, and she is afraid to go outside. It is unstable in this subdivision where we live (I went through a divorce a few years ago after second husband suddenly told me he wanted a divorce, and then suddenly abandoned the dogs and me, and we had to move to a different state, I couldn't keep the house he and I had together). I have put crosses outside, including a cross that more or less faces her house, and that has helped me feel better, though it doesn't stop the fumes. I have been wearing amethyst the past few years, spirit communicated it would help buffer the effect of substance abuse from other people, I don't tend to use the word "empath," but I could probably be described as a physical empath. I appreciate you making this video and I am just laughing at the situation here, I went from planning to teach ESL (went back to graduate school for a second graduate degree, to support children and families, immigrants and refugees, and also to support my husband with a stable job, then he left, and no one wanted to hire me as anything other than a substitute teacher. I've had the shop for going on five years but I am not even sure I want to reopen because the physical empathy is to where there can be too much impact on my body). On a spiritual level, I feel horrified at what goes on with drugs, I don't have much patience for it unless it is young people learning limits or veterans (I am very tolerant of veterans, sometimes too tolerant). I think some of what is going on right now is there is so much going on, maybe I'm not supposed to have clarity? It makes me feel like I should be feeling doom, and I have been wondering if my life is about to be taken, and I just sit here and feel disgust and perhaps heartsick about the drugs and wish I could teach people that use them (did I mention she smokes crack? I don't know if you guys have the same slang if that is slang, but it is cocaine in a form that is smoked and "cheap") that there is a huge amount of harm that happens so they can have those extremely harmful drugs. I tend to not want anyone to experience frightening things, that is harm, though when I am angry I tend to not care as much, but I think if there is anything potent that comes from me, spirit keeps it from being too potent. I don't like thinking in terms of "mental," I am more about emotional and physical, thinking about health and all, but I want to say, it is harmful to my mental health what is going on over there. I have been thinking about carnelian, but I don't know what might happen if I made a crystal grid with carnelian in the center, with an intention of harmless change over there. There is a dog over there and I don't want the dog to be harmed, I don't want the trees to be harmed (there is a cedar tree near the house where she is living, big), there are children on one side (cedar tree is between that house and the house she is renting) and a teenager on the other side, and they have a dog, and the dog gets distressed when outside at certain times. I think I mentioned it has gotten to where my dog is afraid to go out there, much, most of the time. I am going to listen to this video and see if some things come to mind about what to do. I had a table set up for awhile with something I call a 'spirit box' (made out of a strange-shaped box from the grocery store, I think I painted it, I have had at least one dream about spirits in it). I had that at the back door for awhile, and stones, and now I have books and art supplies there. Thank you for the message about the energy not lying. I am having a hard time accepting some things about people I want to like, spirit keeps telling me "no, that person is harmful," and it is so hard to want to believe it, but I know I have to. What you wrote is a good reminder, all around.
Hi, I've not seen any comments about this before. It's likely some of the words will cause YT to automatically hide them. You could try a grid for this and set the intention to end with "if that be for the highest good and with harm to none". You could include black obsidian but it's up to you.

I feel like when a person does something spiritually with the intention of doing no harm, intention matters. I think about history, knowing my neighbor's history is complex and I can't not think about both our ancestors, though it gets confusing, thinking about the islands. She and I have plenty in common, and I am one of those people that thinks about working together with people (not everyone understands that, I have learned), but I don't know how to work with someone doing what she does. The neighbor on the side without children (he does have children but they must be with his ex-wife) struggles with prescribed pills, there was a pharmacy label on the ground last year, pain pills. The veterinarian I take my dog to requires she is sedated with a prescribed pill (trazodone) before I take her (from what they have said they require that of everyone, and I end up empathically experiencing the sedation, too). I went to pick up what I thought would be three pills, a few months ago, (that would be two doses, I give her less than they say to), and they gave me thirty! I feel the harm of the pills, I can feel something like an 'aura' around them (I don't want to use that word, because it is terrible), and I think it was the first night they were here, I had a nightmare someone overdosed or was overdosing, and he looked a bit like the guy next door that at least in the past has struggled with use of pain pills. I am just always praying people are overcoming these things, it is bad medicine, that is the state I live in (Georgia), it is bad, bad medical medicine, poor practice, incompetence, but huge amounts of institutional power and 'old families' (colonialism, basically, it is as destructive as ever). I am going to think carefully about this. I am so very thankful for you!

You could do but I think its best to pick the stones that most suit your needs or that you are most drawn to and combine those if you feel that is what you need. Combinations of 2 or 3 intentional stones will work just as well.

Its a gentler stone so more people find it easier to wear, especially everyday. For me, Black Obsidian is way stronger but more suitable for things like dealing with a psychic attack or extreme negativity.

For personal protection, a crystal within your aura doesn't need to be big. Jewellery is personal, so pick what resonates or has more meaning for you

Yes, its personal and depends on many factors from the person to the stone. Sometimes, bigger is needed but other times they can be too much for some
