I filed the edges with a flat file that is used in the world of modeling, it does not touch the metal of the facade. This Crossfader is revolutionary on this mixer.
I had the same problem. At first I superglued plastic to the mounting bracket but that didn’t last long. Just did this and it is awesome! Thanks for the tip!
Bro exact same situation. Got this mixer and lost my crabs like completely! I was like what happened to this being an innofader?! I nervously ordered the same fader(pnp2) but now I know for sure it will work and I know to use 2 bumpers and don't recalibrate. Thanks a lot man I appreciate it
@@voiceoverz4975 I'm not sure what you mean by that sticker. What's important is that you have the included adapter that lets you change to the four PIN connector. There should be several included adapters. Only one will work with the numark Scratch and it has a four PIN connector. Cheers!
I just have install an Innofader PNP 2. First, had an issue with the original bezel. The PNP 2 didn't fit as waiting and had to make some fixes to make it fit. Second, the reverse switch doesn't work fine. The function is inverted. Any advice for the last issue?
Cheers for the vid bro. I plan on getting this mixer but will what to see how I feel about the fader. Did you consider filing back the faceplate to accommodate the fader? That would have been the first thing I would have thought of but I tend to go the more destructive route when I'm faced with a problem :)
I've just bought one if these mixers brand new, going to ask about the original fader in yours and why you made the upgrade as mine has about 3mm dead space before music comes in the takes about 1mm on dragging the fader back before the music cuts off ,basically rendering it useless for anything other than cutting, is this a fader problem or a mixer problem
Yes, I went ahead and calibrated it before adding the bumpers. Not sure why it would act weird after adding the bumpers, and then re-calibrating. I actually had to reopen it, and calibrate it without the bumpers. The pins are very brittle, so be careful bending them multiple times.
@@evanjohnmo Hi man, i'm french really sorry to bother u possible to talk ? I bought a innofader pro 2 for my numark scratch for me is obligatory that can be work with it. Hey Evan. will the PNP2 with the orange sticker on the box work?

Hi Evan nice mod! Where did you find those spacers?
I am watching your video
An was going 2 attempt to install n do the exact same thing intel I seen your video
I’m trying to install my PNP2 now. This video no working for me.
How did you get out the black rails?? That's pretty much the most integral part of the procedure.

That was actually my first thought too. Glad there is an intended solution that's non destructive

Please help, how do I remove the fader from the mixer? Do I have to open whole mixer?
What drop in style fader would you use? My fader is starting to bled and I need to replace it.
hay thanks for the tip but do you know were to get more of these o rings if so do you have a link to them
Thank you, peace....
Is the Crossfader sends MIDI? Thanks
Hay with the calibration do you need to take out the extra 0 ring or can you just calibrate it with it in for thr innofader pro 2
Did it work out with the pro 2? They say you need another bracet to mount it?
thank you
Do u calibrate before u add the bumpers in fader?
