You do not have to get off (except at the end of the cruise). If you wanted to stay on at Nassau, Castaway Cay or any of the ports, you are never required to leave the ship. The fireworks dissolve into fish food so they are environmentally friendly too. Thanks so much for watching Mike.
Great day! I've never been on a cruise before, so I'm a little confused. Do you have to pay for your food? You hear stories of endless buffets on cruise ships. Is that not a thing?

You do not have to pay for any meals that are included (the buffets, sit down breakfast, sit down diners, food court items), however the Disney Wish does offer two higher end dining options (Palo and Enchante) that are not included, there are also food items at the bars that are extra, coffee shops that are extra and and ice cream/gelato/sweets store that are extra.
