He was the lobby leader, so he can change team names in the lobby. Rogues overlay is automatic and bases the names on the teams in the lobby. Does this explain it?

Also the way turo and first killer say change it back and retals says ok, then types throgue. the point is it was perfect timing throughout. the first and friends was the tee for it tho but again its still technically a roast but its funny. furthermore, retals didnt even say he would do it to johnnyboi making the change the name even more funnier as its unexpected. the throgue lol is funnier than throgue as it makes it seem less professional and thats what makes it funny.
