I can close my eyes and see teenage me sitting in a dark room listening to Lights Out album. My step dad came home with BG's Chopper City album one night after BG performed in my city and I was hooked.
I had too many pairs of girbauds and tall tees to count. I even had braids like Wayne had. Hell, I’m pretty sure we shared a hospital room in 1994 when he shot himself. I broke my jaw that same December and was in the child ward at the Charity Hispital in Nola. I vividly remember a kid in there who had shot himself with his mom gun.
