I agree with you brother. I think one of the the reasons they would be against this, is the fact that back then, they were able to get away with chairshots, and and weapon strike to the skull, without knowing the eventual outcome. Nowadays, we don't see crazy chairshots like that anymore, because former WWE wrestler Christopher Nowinski, discovered that it would leave alot of long term effects, which could lead to brain damage, serious concussions, and blood clots etc. If they were to resurrect the hardcore title, it would have to be "softer" weapons used for strikes to the cranium etc
