I love kapenta but for some reason, it gives me heartburn. So I put peanut butter in there as well and no heartburn.
      It is also very delicious.

    Hello Natty.
Can you tell me what chibwabwa is? The food dishes look delicious. If I visit Zambia, I would definitely love to try the dishes you have prepared in the video. Are these dishes easily found in the local restaurants. I am African-American (Diaspora African) and love Pan-African cuisine. Is it possible that via your channel that you may be able to feature some Diaspora cuisines like candied yams and gumbo which have African/Bantu roots? Thanks.

Kapenta with onions ans tomatoes must be delicious (fresh Kapenta is even better but must be roasted before anything else except load of spices and not the tomatoes). Why you also put unions and tomatoes on the rest? For the chicken, put unions, pepper, garlic, some salt and flour and enough chili peppers and make it a nice gravy for the nshima! The vegies don't need if it is a "spinach like" vegetable like rape, pumpkin leaves etc (what did u use?). Thanks btw!

Edward Eduardus why are you insulting my Zambian sisters cooking? What is your problem? Mind your own fucking business, coming here to tell her how she should cook.she did not ask for your assistance.cook your own food your way,too many cooks spoil the cooking.

In Zambia we don't do a lot of spices - just onions and tomatoes - if you want to add spice, maybe curry powder. We like to taste the authentic flavours of food as it was created and we do not mix our proteins 🐄🐖🐓

    • @cookingwithnatty1310

    • @koblakartey-corsy43

cookingwithnatty oh waaaw is soo white , cause we have similar corn fufu in Ghana we call it banku also made out of corn , we blend the corn and mix it with water and leave it for three days to ferment before making the fufu with it , and it doesn't look this white , I wish I could know the secrete of its color

Kobla Kartey-corsy this corn flour doesn’t get fermented, but grounded and cooked just as corn flour, that’s why the colour sty’s white. We eat this too in Uganda.

  • @vitumbikokumwenda7476

Kapenta and chicken don't go together for a meal. It should be Kapenta and Chibwabwa or Chicken with chibwabwa then served with nshima. Match the dishes for a better taste. Its impossible to eat kapenta and chicken then chibwabwa. But kapenta and chibwabwa or chicken and chibwabwa served with nshima.
