Hello! Thank you for such an informative video. I live in the UK and had no idea it’s cheaper in Japan than Europe! I’ve been eyeing the Guilloché gold bracelet and necklace, and I’m going to Japan next year woo! Did you put down a wishlist in Japan prior to your visit or did you manage to walk in and snatch a piece? Any advice would be appreciated!
My SA reached out to me beforehand and was able to reference the email and had all the pieces by the time of my appointment. However I didn’t put the guilloche on my wishlist and I know that’s a rarer piece, so I don’t believe they can put that on hold. Each store might be different too with different policies but would definitely make a reservation and a SA should reach out to you!
May I suggest next time do some mod shots?
I bought a VCA necklace in Auckland, NZ but didn’t get any boxed chocolates. A bit disappointing.
Do they have a tax-limit for luxury stores in Japan? Really wanting to purchase VCA Guilloche in Japan, but I’m scared that they might not apply tax free…😅

Hi congrats on your MOP, I actually got the guilloché and I wanted to extend it a bit more, I didn’t get your explanation, did you mean they will extend it one more loop the same distance as the one they have already? TIA
They will lengthen it by adding more links to the general necklace (based on your preference when trying on the dummy necklace). This length will be the shortest option on your necklace aka the first hole. The distance from the two holes or the two length options is fixed. So whatever length you choose, keep in mind that the longest option will be + the fixed distance from the two holes. I hope that makes sense - I was also so confused in store while doing it haha!

@@je-suis_Tati of course, and yes I think that’s a great alternative so that you have more options! If it’s been within a year you can re-size it as many times as you want, but if you decide you no longer like the length in a few years they will charge you. Enjoy your necklace ☺️

Didn’t always used to be like this but lately all the European brands have been trying to globalize their prices. Europe shopping isn’t as good as it used to be 😅
Euro price is still a little cheaper with a VAT refund.
Definitely depends on where you live. I live in a city with very high taxes so it’s not worth it for me personally to purchase oversees to save under $100 and then come back and pay customs. But it also depends on the item!
