The music sounds like you're getting chased all the time. Like if you drop your guard for one second you're going to get hit in the back with a machete or something in this game.
That was my favorite weapon to use. This video doesn't even do it justice. It looks so much cooler when you shoot it up into the sky. Like a nuke exploding :)
To this day Turok1-2 and Perfect Dark still my favorite FPS, the only few modern ones I've liked have been FEAR & Titanfall, there's quite a bit of good fps indie games too

The cronosepter is the final weapon of the game. After turok defeated campaigner he destroyed that weapon and saved the lost land and turok (Tal'set) becomes the son of stone.
As a kid, I thought it was the funniest thing to keep blowing dead enemies up, because they would still scream every time. I remember all the sounds so much better than I’d think. Wonderful memories, playing this and Seeds of Evil.
The minigun was incredibly underpowered compared to what the game was trying to crack it up to be. It has noticeably less dps than the auto shotgun and plasma rifle, barely more than the assault rife (which you get in the first level), and burned through ammo very rapidly with each shot counting as 4 bullets. I also had a startup and cool down time, making it even less practical for most situations.
I never really use this gun without cheats due to the ammo issue, but actually its DPS is insane - much higher than assault rifle and shotguns - and it also has good velocity and range. The startup/cooldown time is under half a second; not really a big deal. It serves similar utility to the pulse rifle, being good vs just about everything at any range. But I find it even better than the pulse rifle vs hordes of small enemies at medium range. Honestly were it not an ammo whore, it would be a GREAT weapon.
I loved that you could rekill dead bodies with the grenade launcher. The spinning weapon you could charge, though I could never make good use of it, I liked its effect on enemies. Standing there, electrical effect, BOOM!
My cousin had this game. The first time I played it was in thanksgiving. I was sitting In class right before Christmas break just day dreaming about those last two guns and shooting them again.
The design of the minigun and the Grenade Launchers continue to amaze me at how realistic they look for their time. The other weapons also look too good but without a doubt these two take the victory in terms of realism. And the sound of the shots is not to be said...

When you're demo-ing a chaingun in a videogame you don't just shoot it for one second like that. Please fix the video and hold the chaingun trigger down for a while until bullets run out completely. This video fails to show how they actually programmed and designed the chaingun, it doesn't even seem like it winds up completely here.
Just sitting here and listening to an endless loop of the Ancient City soundtrack while repeating the last three weapons on this list over and over again.... Ahh the memories. Taking the fusion Cannon for a stroll right from the beginning after having earned it the hard way... getting so good at the game from grinding that the game jut gave you the cheat-codes itself! Truly a game that was ahead of its time! Wish we could have a modern graphics-updated with all the red gore and fleshy chunks left alone version for the modern day systems to play! That would truly be an EPIC-Level game!

I love how at 0:30 you can hear the grenade launch the dead guy XD i used to love launching the dead guys non stop with grenades
So apparently grenades and other explosives continue to detonate on dead bodies..... I committed suicide more than once this way.
20 years later and fps games can't make anything as epic and badass as this.

The first two Turok games had such uniquely badass weapons. The Cerebral Bore weapon from Turok 2 blew my mind as an 9 year old kid.
