LiL' Darling is a 12/8 rhythmical structure. Therefore that 4/4 feel is totally inadequate to render this jazz gem. Do it again but this time around with that 12/8 feel,, you'll learn then much about the real nature of jazz

Having played this great piece in a stage band, I simply love how in the 4/4 time written for it .. .. the tune comes in on the upbeat. Sets this apart from other jazz pieces.
If you are disturbed by the "machine sound", think that you have to concentrate on the voicings, which are not really a "debacle". I made the transcription by myself, and am not ashamed of it.
