This is actually the *last* Betty Boop appearance until she pops up again in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" in 1988. There's one more "Betty Boop" (titled) episode after this, but she doesn't appear in it.
Hahahahaha! Betty Boop is a real girl to my eyes ! Hahahahaha! Fantastic performance ! The husband character hahahahaha ! Its tells the men's character! Oh! I enjoyed this !! Thanks
I think it’s a good thing society recognizes media like this as offensive now. I am, however, not in favor of banning or (in today’s vernacular) “canceling” it. While it certainly shouldn’t be celebrated or appreciated on its face, it is valuable as a teaching tool regarding how marginalized populations were considered and depicted in the past, how they are today, and how little, unfortunately, has changed.
@@michelerich1590 I'm not sure if he's going to be here any time soon. I'll speculate that people probably don't think these *caricatures* of Native Americans are very reliably showing what their people are like. But banning it is stupid, because it'll give the illusion to people in the future that "Nah, that never happened in the past." Though, I'm sure there are *some* people who would just love to cause trouble by doing just this. All to make the same stupid thing pop up all over again.

Ever see the 1980 South African movie The Gods Must Be Crazy? Man in an airplane throws out a Coke bottle. The tribe below find it and use it for many different things. None being a liquid container. This cartoon reminds me of that part of the movie. Creativity at its best!!

The Native American Chief had the HOTS for Betty Boop ever since He first saw Her. The Chief wanted to join Betty Boop & His wife gave Him a spanking. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤
This is seriously cringe. But by this time the Fleischer folks had run out of ideas for Betty...honestly, I think they lost interest in her, there was a very sharp drop in the overall quality of her cartoons after 1936, as they started to focus more on Popeye and other characters, developing their animated Gulliver movie, dealing with a 1937 animator's strike, and moving the studio from New York to Miami. The Fleischer Brothers had a major falling-out and Dave took over production entirely in 1939...and I suspect he didn't care for Betty at all, because once he took over, Betty was out. A few years later, amid serious money problems, the Fleischers lost the company to Paramount, who renamed it Famous Studios.

What about "The Romance of Betty Boop" from 1985? There's also The Betty Boop Movie Mystery from 1989!

The Last Official Betty Boop Cartoon That Doesn't Feature Betty Boop is " YIP YIP YIPPY ".

The last Betty Boop short 😞😭
It’s her last appearance but not her final cartoon. Yip yip yippy is actually her final cartoon. She’s just not in it for some reason
The final Betty boop cartoon in which Betty herself appears.
I watched this at my grandparents' house many times when I was a little kid.
Betty is fabulous.

Betty’s face seems to be drawn very differently in this one.
Betty Boop is Wearing a Bandana or Head Scarf so Most of Her Hair is Covered. She Still Has the Familiar Big Cute Eyes & Button Nose.

Love that car engine sound 🤣👍👍🇺🇸

What do you mean how little things have changed? Things have changed drastically
Could you explain why this is offensive?
@@michelerich1590 Because Native Americans & First Nations were being Stereotyped in a Negative way. Not quite as much as African Americans.

Agree totally - as if those people hadn’t suffered enough, they had to bear this image of themselves portrayed as violent, dumb boneheads.
