I personally don’t mind you using the 5 stars you got through crystals. It’s still interesting to me to see how you solve different puzzles without bows or catalysts etc. I watch another person who does a similar series and he buys every character and it’s still just as interesting. Basically, don’t worry about this series seeming “easy” to your subscribers and just play who you want to play :)

1: Albedo definitely wants geo damage over defense, especially with those stats. 2: The dendro damage from hyperbloom is calculated off of the electro character's EM and level, so giving lumine more EM effectively does nothing for that specific reaction. 3: Crit is very valuable on Aggravate/Spread teams since its another multiplier for the added damage the reaction gives you. 4: Talent levels will increase only the spread damage for dendro, for other reactions it does little to nothing except at high investment with attack and crit. 5: Enough about math, Keqing is fun so if you like her, play her.
I think when it comes to the genesis crystal thing it did ruin the challenge a little bit as it wouldve been interesting to see what could happen when you didnt pull the characters. However it also gave more content, and you also are enjoying it which i think is the most important. If your enjoying making the content then i have no complaints
I'm for using the keqinf variant of the team. Seems more fun. Also my favorite dendro reaction is burgeon. Basically hyperbloom with pyro instead of electro. It just shreads enemies. But bloom generally seems incredible strong. Edit: Let me also explain the dreams set real quick: If you trigger a reaction, you get buffs. Those buffs are 14% attack for every other character with the same element as the person with that artifact and 50 EM for every character with another element as the person with the set. Can be triggered while the character with the set is offield.
@@Miko2030 wait, really? I havent noticed that. But then again, when i fight i usually dont really know what going on, other than stuff dieing, so i assumed it was just damage from the enemies. And i use yanfei to trigger it so i have some range in case that matters.
For Hyperbloom teams you actually do NOT need EM on your dendro character since they won't be triggering the reactions. You instead want it on electro character. Kaeya, Kuki, Dendro MC, Xingqiu could work really well actually. You put all EM build on Kuki (Iron Sting, EM on all artifacts and the new Gilded Dreams set), the new Dendro set on Traveller (for dendro RES shred) focusing on ER, then CRIT stats, going ER/ATK sands, Dendro cup, CRIT circlet probably and something like Fav sword. For Xingqiu you go for whatever you usually do with him. Kaeya will work nicely for extra damage and some freezes. Building him on Blizzard set can work here. He'd actually help with freezing enemies to make them easier to deal with and the cryo application means dendro lasts longer when you apply hydro for blooms (can watch some theorycrafter vids for more in-depth explanations). This team should be getting you quite consistent 30+K hyperblooms as well as all the extra damage from Kaeya and Xingqiu once built up, while also being not too hard to use.

20:11 The set gives the character equipping it 14% attack for each party member of the same element and 50 EM for those of different elements after triggering a reaction
For dendro sword billet you just need to do the aranyaka quest part two, until the seeing that onion tree. Then leveling up the tree to level3 gives you billet and talking with the aranara near the tree will give you blueprint
@@CN-yb5gn it's the one in the cave by the house. It's a galaxy onion. You get a VERY short world quest that leads you to it once you unlock Vanarana I'm pretty sure.
A team with dendro traveler kuki keqing and another character would be a really good team. Maybe kuki traveler keqing and albedo on one team then kaeya ayaka xingqui and kazuha on the other. You can inter change bennet and albedobut make sure not to blow up the flower traveler spawns. Noblesse is probably what you want on that traveler. :). And usually aggravate is the best reaction that your gonna wanna go for
For the traveler I’d recommend just farming the artifacts she uses different books to level up and you can get those materials from playing the game opening chests and doing the events right now. I have her skill at 5 and burst at 7 and haven’t farmed a single talent domain.
Java, if u are having troubles with upgrading artifacts, the serenitea pot is pretty helpful, at trust rank 6 or 8, idk, it allows you to buy artif upgrading potions
Sets and stuff, when you get to trust rank 5 you unlock a second plot of land essentially doubling your score, plus the inside and the outside of the house are two different things so yeah… loooots of potential coins easy
@@juice3287 Just put random shit in your serenitea pot until the realm quality is maxed out, that increases how much you gain per hour. After that check on it like once everyday and you should be able to get like 5k coins in a week easily
@@dokchampa9324 folding screens are easy to make, don't take up much space, and bump up the teapot rank pretty quickly, so they're great for coin farming
Kaeya is my favorite character, so I always appreciate him getting some use. I’d at least like to see him in some overworld exploration. I think you should go ahead and give him the mist splitter though. I believe the Kaeya, Traveler, Shinobu and Xingqiu team fits a new reaction comp people are calling “Fridge”. Since cryo and and dendro can exist on an enemy at the same time, allowing you to keep enemies frozen in place while triggering dendro reactions on them. Hyperbloom might be difficult to proc this way, though.
It's always nice to see Kaeya get more love! Maybe give him the Mistsplitter for a bit more damage (that way you're not exclusively using whatever you got with genesis crystals) plus his passive decreases stamina so that could be useful for exploration
@@yukipotato4767 cryo and hydro can coexist on the same enemy as a freeze aura, so freezing an enemy and then triggering bloom on it will keep more of the dendro aura, so yea, cryo and dendro have an interation
You should use whatever characters you enjoy playing. I certainly haven't lost interest in the series because you were able to get some good characters off of gifted primos. Honestly, I enjoy when you get new characters because it keeps it interesting.
Honestly, while the new start thing is pretty fun, I think just lumine, kuki(or keqing), xingqiu and bennett just to try out all the dendro reactions could be pretty fun, as burgeon while maybe not as good as the others is still quite fun. Though a keqing instead of kaeya could work too, as electro is probably what works best with dendro.
Technically I heard of a freeze dendro comp because in freeze it's a combo of hydro + cryo, and Ive used it a bit, but the blooms take too long to explode imo
I honestly don’t mind you using the characters you got from crystals it’s really the idea of not using any characters other than sword characters that makes this series appealing also seeing how far the account has come is really fun
A little thing about Bloom reactions: The secondary reactions, Hyperbloom and Burgeon, are triggered by inflicting Electro or Pyro onto the Bloom cores, which are the seed-looking things, rather than the enemy itself. Not all that important with sword characters and other melee types, but good to keep in mind for Catalysts Only and bow characters.
Shinobu and Keqing are especially amazing with the introduction of Dendro. Pair them with Dendro Traveler then slot whoever you want for the fourth and you have a cracked Quicken/Aggravate team. It's very comfy to play with Shinobu's persistent healing, too. It's never been clearer that she was designed with Dendro in mind and simply released ahead of the element.
So, Traveller's ult has a really unique thing, hit it with electro and it'll speed up attacks, hydro it'll widen it's AoE, (also pyro blows it up), so I'd actually say, the combo I'd be using for Hyperbloom is Traveller ult, hit ult with electro, trigger Electro-charged on enemies with Xingqiu (remember that Electro-charged is special and keeps BOTH elements on the enemy), then cycle back around to electro the cores that Traveller's ult is making. As for "Kaeya or Keqing" I'm team "Whatever you want bruv" but of note, because you have Shinobu you don't need Keqing, and in fact Shinobu is better for Hyperbloom, because she scales of Elemental Mastery to begin with! (Edit: Actually, Keqing gives Energy Recharge to the party thanks to Electro Resonance, I pick Keqing)
I think playing Keqing makes sense with the new reactions. I think the Kaeya team is being called Fridge by mixing cryo with bloom or hyperbloom which is fun to see sometimes too. But with Keqing you can do aggravate teams and hyperbloom.
I believe using Keqing, a character that can interact with dendro, is gonna be more fun and entertaining than using Kaeya since he cant interact with dendro at all.

If you planning to run hyperbloom teams, you don't need to invest in Lumine's EM -- trigger for the reaction will be electro and the game will look at electro character's EM to calculate damage. When running electro+hydro with dendro you might also trigger some spreads/aggravates and for those reactions crit is THE stat you're looking for. As for talents, I'd say investing what you get via exploration would probably work the best
most importantly, just play whatever team is most fun for you! seeing you so excited about dendro and the new reactions was awesome, and i'm so glad you're enjoying it!
Btw, if you want more dmg from hyperbloom specifically, build the em on *Keqing* or *Kuki* . Electro’s the one actually triggering the reaction. Em on traveler will only be useful if you use traveler trigger the bloom reaction and let the cores explode on their own.
I think you should go for whichever team you wanna play because honestly seeing the content creators having fun really affects how as an audience i enjoy the video... That being said I do like keqing in the team because of dendro reactions
Java! There's a quest to unlock one of the hidden parts of the map that during them you're practically required to use a bow since you need to shoot at something really high up in the air with a charged/aimed attack! EDIT: the blueprints are near the sumeru version of the inazuma tree! you get there after completing the quest with Rana (same quest as the top comment)
With the coming of dendro, elemental mastery and certain artifact sets like thundering fury have been greatly buffed. Saying all this, i would recommend the gilded dreams artifact set for dendro traveler as their initial dm of elemental skill and burst will also be buffed based off of em.
I def would love to see more Kaeya tbh. The Genasis crystals did take quite a bit of fun out of the whole series and I subscribed to you just for it originally (though now I watch all your stuff and think the tier lists and the recolours are fun too). I think for grinding domains and such where there isn't much content value and you'd rather clear them quick, use Kequing or Ayaka or whomever gets you through the fastest, but for explorations and such I'd love to see the original team before ya got all those 5 stars and the characters that for you so far got left in the dust. I think a big part of the early success wasn't just the novelty of the idea but also seeing characters used that aren't meta/are rarely used overall and it would be fun to see you build them.
The combo of Childe, Raiden and dendro traveler so freaking fun to play with skxnwkldlel Edit: I watched the vid and i'm glad u also like the hydro, electro and dendro reaction!! Not the same exact reaction but the results are satisfying like Dendro traveler burst, Raiden Skill, Childe/Ayato skill and spam normal attack and just enjoy~
I'm kind of a childe main xd and I've always loved how satisfying his attacks are and I love them even more with the dendro reactions. It's just so much fun 😂
It looks like most of your damage is coming from Hyperbloom, which is Dendro/Hydro into Electro. Also, quicken and derivatives are basically a Dendro/Electro vaporize.
Note: How to get Sapwood blade You need to do the aranayaka quest or whatever it was called up until you unlock the tree of dreams From there you can buy the blueprint from a aranara next to the tree. Also if you want to lumine only as a dendro applicator , there’s no need to level up her talents, but leveling them up would increase your overall damage
I rlly like the challenge as it is, I love that you try pulling for sword characters on the banners. It makes the challenge super interesting because you try out these and it wont get boring. (Not that your videos ever get boring) And personally I don’t mind when you spend a little bit of money, because sometimes these characters can be really helpful. Btw, I like both teams, I think keqin would be of more use in Sumeru but Kaeya would be great for freezing together with Xingqiu. So I would put myself in the “I don’t mind, as long as you like it it’s good” place^^

Dendro for dummies Bloom Water + grass = seed More than 5 seed equal seed go boom Seed + fire = big boom (aoe) (hurts you) Seed + thunder = missile (single target) (doesn't hurt you) Quicken Grass + thunder = power down (like superconduct) Powerdown + grass = more grass number Powerdown + thunder= more thunder number Burning Grass + fire = continuous fire
Honestly, I'm so happy to see you finally using Kuki, she's one of my favorites atm. She's also amazing for spectar farming because if you fall in the water with her skill going, you can still kill the spectars by electro-charged even while you're swimming. (Also, I don't mind if you use Keqing in your Sumeru-exploration team)
She is also a great physical dps, as she has good multipliers, works with 4 piece pale flame, and can still use all the shitty HP and EM rolls on the pieces you'd normally throw away. Right now she does decent physical damage while still producing lots of reactions and healing from the substats, and it was easy to farm for
@@mymsoup I would agree, but probably not because keqing is great, but because keqing is a great driver for Fischl, who has been boosted to S tier with dendro reactions.
as far as dendro reactions go, the general consensus is that aggravate (dendro + electro creates quicken, and if you apply dendro or electro to a quickened enemy you get a flat defense bonus) is rlly good for keqing bc of her decent electro application, while for hyperbloom kuki is prob the better option bc you're going to stack em on her and hyperbloom only scales off em and character lvl but yeah, unless you want to try a fridge team with kaeya (dendro blooms + freeze), keqing would probably be the better option. that being said, fridge is also pretty cool imo
I'd prefer you using any fun teams that utilize the new dendro reactions, such as Keqing ^^ While you haven't used Kaeya in a while, he was very prominent at the beginning of the challenge, and using him now doesn't really offer anything new as he doesn't have reactions with dendro.
I think to help the whole genesis crystal situation would be placing a level cap at like 70 on all the characters. Then you can use the better weapons instead and characters won't need the same amount of investment as you reuse weapons and save on levelling

I’m pretty far in AR, but I’ve never played a game with a rolling system and the abundance of information about stats in this game gets a bit overwhelming and hard for me to completely grasp. so thank you again 🙏🏼 you will always be one of my favorite creators and i aspire to grow alongside you in the genshin community someday!
First of all, resurrect Kaeya pls) Second, the teams. I was thinking about it a lot for my own acc, being Kaeya main and all that... As I see it, you have two options: go for freeze comp with some occasional Hyperblooms from Kuki, or enjoy Elctro/Dendro reactions to the fullest by swapping to Keqing. If you go with the second option, maybe you'd do a Kaeya appreciation video and raise him to put my heart at rest? I mean it's up to you, how you play, but I'd enjoy some Kaeya presence on the screen.
To be completely honest, i like when you use your very good 5 stars. But i do see why people don't think it's entertaining. I think you should put the mistsplitter on kaeya if you aren't gonna use the OP 5 stars :) great video by the way! (i'd love if you used keqing too!)

I say that you should use Keqing, though, without the mistsplitter, as that was from all the genesis crystals, because all in all Keqing was actually from rolling with primos you earned in the 2.6 event.
Seeing people use Kaeya as a dps warms my heart :з I just personally prefer him over Keqing. I explore Sumeru with him on the team, even if i have to swith my team on every puzzle.
You can use kuki's elemental skill, xingquo's burst and lumines burst, to constantly proc hyperbloom because hydro and dendro don't interact with the little bloom fruit thing so only the electro will hit it, thus hyperbloom
I think you should use the keqing team!! It is a lot more fun and you enjoy it more :D it has dendro reactions which is great for sumeru exploring, and i think a lot of us can agree that we don't mind you using your better characters :) Edit: Omg new outro!! I love it ❤
to the artifact on 21:20 - you could very well get this on albedo if you want to use him in the party - because on 4 pieces this would make his skill really useful in lowering the enemies dendro res which should improve the dmg whatnot - albedos skill should be really decent for that
Leveling Dendro Traveler's talents are only for damage increase, and don't effect your reaction damage. Personally I would like to see Keqing instead of Kaeya, and the weapon blueprint (sword) is from a quest called aranyaka (i'm 99 % sure).
Dendro makes Electro absolutely broken. Quicken is an amazing reaction, and as an Electro main (I main Yae Miko and Fischl), Sumeru has been one of the easiest regions for me. My preferred Sumeru team is Yae Miko, Dendro Traveler, Yanfei, and Jean or Yelan (I haven't tried Barbara yet for reactions, but I am considering it.).
For a spread team you want EM on the dendro unit, but for hyperbloom you want EM on the electro unit because EM only counts for the element that triggers the reaction, so kuki is actually better than keqing for hyperbloom
@@TheSzutekina I have millelith on her for the Hp and attack boost from using her skill and she scales off hp and Em so I would do Hp sands, EM Goblet and Hp or EM circlet (Hp if you want more burst damage) and she likes ER and Hp% as a substats, crit rate/damage aren’t as important for hyperbloom since I think it doesn’t crit
PLEASE USE KEQING TO SHOW OFF HOW MUCH DENDRO BUFFED HER!!! Even though we see her a lot on this series, we barely see her any other time… I think she deserves the spotlight.
Coming back to catch up on videos, seeing the start of Sumerian’s is so good, seeing kuki and traveller on a team before everyone knew kuki and dendritic was broken is so fun.
I was so looking forward to these series because of lots of dendro things in Sumeru that are mainly in places where you need an archer, but maybe Keqing can solve them, huh (I didn'tfinish watching the video yet so idk if you already tried that out). I myself mostly use swords and catalysts (and polearms) and most of the times I was climbing Zhongli pillar to reach those with my Xingqui or Lumine attacks haha

dendro characters cant really trigger the reaction, it is only an "enabler" element (to create bloom seed and quicken status). So normal atk/crit stuff should be fine (at least for Dendro MC).
@@patchy4714 Only Tighnari can maximize spread at the current stage of the game, and Dendro MC is simply NOT built for Spread but rather to enable reaction (bloom seeds & quicken status) for other characters to trigger polymorphic reactions (yes this is the official term) or in simpler term, sub reactions.
I made a rule for myself since the game is easy after 600+ days of playing and it restricts my character choices to their regions. The Crux crew is an exception by means of a dedicated port. I have to do pyro reactions by swirling with Kazuha now. It is semi-difficult to find a source of pyro nearby to progress and complete puzzles, but its fun. (Team: Traveler, Collei, Beidou, Kazuha)
To be honest, Java, constantly nerfing your own account for challenge content makes it a bit underwhelming in my opinion. I think the growth of the account and overcoming challenges you once couldn't is what makes it entertaining, at least for me. If you constantly give yourself limitations so that you always have a challenge, it feels like there is no progression at all - or that the progression you got through is worthless. I think special episodes like "only using x characters" or "not using x character" are fine, but it's a bit sad to not see you use the characters you invested in because it would be "easy." Regardless, I'm always gonna watch your content and can't wait to see the future of all your accounts! It's only fun if you enjoy it. Listen to the community but most importantly yourself!
i only got into this series recently but it seems like whichever character is most fun for you will naturally produce the best content. i think whoever you want to use you should use.
In a hyperbloom team, your gonna get aggravate/spread as side anyway, which do scale with talent level although proportionally less than with other reaction like vape/melt. Generally, DPS that rely on aggravate/spread want crit first then em/att. Hyperbloom/burgeon wants em only (in your team with Kaeya, Kuki is the only character that will trigger hyperbloom so you can go full em on her) That team would probably be call a fridge team and has some of the benefit of a frozen team mixed in with the dendro. Maybe less flexible for exploration but definitely something to consider for abyss. It seemed to work well for you and you don't have to worry about building em on anyone other then Kuki
I like how you created an actually strong hyperbloom team xD good job java! btw you might want to swith kaeya for ayaka because it also freezes the enemies and ayaka can take good advantage of that :D

So all the big damage java was doing with hyperbloom was because of his kuki.

For Hyperbloom teams you actually do NOT need EM on your dendro character since they won't be triggering the reactions. You instead want it on electro character.
Kaeya, Kuki, Dendro MC, Xingqiu could work really well actually. You put all EM build on Kuki (Iron Sting, EM on all artifacts and the new Gilded Dreams set), the new Dendro set on Traveller (for dendro RES shred) focusing on ER, then CRIT stats, going ER/ATK sands, Dendro cup, CRIT circlet probably and something like Fav sword. For Xingqiu you go for whatever you usually do with him. Kaeya will work nicely for extra damage and some freezes. Building him on Blizzard set can work here. He'd actually help with freezing enemies to make them easier to deal with and the cryo application means dendro lasts longer when you apply hydro for blooms (can watch some theorycrafter vids for more in-depth explanations).
This team should be getting you quite consistent 30+K hyperblooms as well as all the extra damage from Kaeya and Xingqiu once built up, while also being not too hard to use.

For dendro sword billet you just need to do the aranyaka quest part two, until the seeing that onion tree. Then leveling up the tree to level3 gives you billet and talking with the aranara near the tree will give you blueprint

A team with dendro traveler kuki keqing and another character would be a really good team. Maybe kuki traveler keqing and albedo on one team then kaeya ayaka xingqui and kazuha on the other. You can inter change bennet and albedobut make sure not to blow up the flower traveler spawns. Noblesse is probably what you want on that traveler. :). And usually aggravate is the best reaction that your gonna wanna go for
Kuki Kequing Waterboy and Traveler, that way it's all Quicken and Tazor wrapped into one epic game
For the traveler I’d recommend just farming the artifacts she uses different books to level up and you can get those materials from playing the game opening chests and doing the events right now. I have her skill at 5 and burst at 7 and haven’t farmed a single talent domain.
Java, if u are having troubles with upgrading artifacts, the serenitea pot is pretty helpful, at trust rank 6 or 8, idk, it allows you to buy artif upgrading potions

Sets and stuff, when you get to trust rank 5 you unlock a second plot of land essentially doubling your score, plus the inside and the outside of the house are two different things so yeah… loooots of potential coins easy
@@juice3287 Just put random shit in your serenitea pot until the realm quality is maxed out, that increases how much you gain per hour. After that check on it like once everyday and you should be able to get like 5k coins in a week easily

Kaeya is my favorite character, so I always appreciate him getting some use. I’d at least like to see him in some overworld exploration. I think you should go ahead and give him the mist splitter though.
I believe the Kaeya, Traveler, Shinobu and Xingqiu team fits a new reaction comp people are calling “Fridge”. Since cryo and and dendro can exist on an enemy at the same time, allowing you to keep enemies frozen in place while triggering dendro reactions on them. Hyperbloom might be difficult to proc this way, though.
Hyperbloom is a bit more challenging than normal, but yeah, the fridge is essentially the comp with dendro + cryo + hydro + variable
It's always nice to see Kaeya get more love! Maybe give him the Mistsplitter for a bit more damage (that way you're not exclusively using whatever you got with genesis crystals) plus his passive decreases stamina so that could be useful for exploration

You should use whatever characters you enjoy playing. I certainly haven't lost interest in the series because you were able to get some good characters off of gifted primos. Honestly, I enjoy when you get new characters because it keeps it interesting.
I think that using Keqing is fine, as long as it brings enjoyment and new content! (Plus I want to see Keqing in a Quicken/Aggravate team)
Honestly, while the new start thing is pretty fun, I think just lumine, kuki(or keqing), xingqiu and bennett just to try out all the dendro reactions could be pretty fun, as burgeon while maybe not as good as the others is still quite fun. Though a keqing instead of kaeya could work too, as electro is probably what works best with dendro.
Technically I heard of a freeze dendro comp because in freeze it's a combo of hydro + cryo, and Ive used it a bit, but the blooms take too long to explode imo
I honestly don’t mind you using the characters you got from crystals it’s really the idea of not using any characters other than sword characters that makes this series appealing also seeing how far the account has come is really fun
A little thing about Bloom reactions: The secondary reactions, Hyperbloom and Burgeon, are triggered by inflicting Electro or Pyro onto the Bloom cores, which are the seed-looking things, rather than the enemy itself. Not all that important with sword characters and other melee types, but good to keep in mind for Catalysts Only and bow characters.

Shinobu and Keqing are especially amazing with the introduction of Dendro. Pair them with Dendro Traveler then slot whoever you want for the fourth and you have a cracked Quicken/Aggravate team. It's very comfy to play with Shinobu's persistent healing, too. It's never been clearer that she was designed with Dendro in mind and simply released ahead of the element.
So, Traveller's ult has a really unique thing, hit it with electro and it'll speed up attacks, hydro it'll widen it's AoE, (also pyro blows it up), so I'd actually say, the combo I'd be using for Hyperbloom is Traveller ult, hit ult with electro, trigger Electro-charged on enemies with Xingqiu (remember that Electro-charged is special and keeps BOTH elements on the enemy), then cycle back around to electro the cores that Traveller's ult is making.
As for "Kaeya or Keqing" I'm team "Whatever you want bruv" but of note, because you have Shinobu you don't need Keqing, and in fact Shinobu is better for Hyperbloom, because she scales of Elemental Mastery to begin with! (Edit: Actually, Keqing gives Energy Recharge to the party thanks to Electro Resonance, I pick Keqing)

I think playing Keqing makes sense with the new reactions. I think the Kaeya team is being called Fridge by mixing cryo with bloom or hyperbloom which is fun to see sometimes too. But with Keqing you can do aggravate teams and hyperbloom.
I believe using Keqing, a character that can interact with dendro, is gonna be more fun and entertaining than using Kaeya since he cant interact with dendro at all.
Freeze + dendro is actually an interesting comp, freeze interacts with dendro since it's hydro + cryo

If you planning to run hyperbloom teams, you don't need to invest in Lumine's EM -- trigger for the reaction will be electro and the game will look at electro character's EM to calculate damage.
When running electro+hydro with dendro you might also trigger some spreads/aggravates and for those reactions crit is THE stat you're looking for.
As for talents, I'd say investing what you get via exploration would probably work the best
most importantly, just play whatever team is most fun for you! seeing you so excited about dendro and the new reactions was awesome, and i'm so glad you're enjoying it!

Btw, if you want more dmg from hyperbloom specifically, build the em on *Keqing* or *Kuki* . Electro’s the one actually triggering the reaction. Em on traveler will only be useful if you use traveler trigger the bloom reaction and let the cores explode on their own.
I think you should go for whichever team you wanna play because honestly seeing the content creators having fun really affects how as an audience i enjoy the video...
That being said I do like keqing in the team because of dendro reactions
Java! There's a quest to unlock one of the hidden parts of the map that during them you're practically required to use a bow since you need to shoot at something really high up in the air with a charged/aimed attack!
EDIT: the blueprints are near the sumeru version of the inazuma tree! you get there after completing the quest with Rana (same quest as the top comment)
With the coming of dendro, elemental mastery and certain artifact sets like thundering fury have been greatly buffed. Saying all this, i would recommend the gilded dreams artifact set for dendro traveler as their initial dm of elemental skill and burst will also be buffed based off of em.
I def would love to see more Kaeya tbh. The Genasis crystals did take quite a bit of fun out of the whole series and I subscribed to you just for it originally (though now I watch all your stuff and think the tier lists and the recolours are fun too). I think for grinding domains and such where there isn't much content value and you'd rather clear them quick, use Kequing or Ayaka or whomever gets you through the fastest, but for explorations and such I'd love to see the original team before ya got all those 5 stars and the characters that for you so far got left in the dust.
I think a big part of the early success wasn't just the novelty of the idea but also seeing characters used that aren't meta/are rarely used overall and it would be fun to see you build them.

It looks like most of your damage is coming from Hyperbloom, which is Dendro/Hydro into Electro. Also, quicken and derivatives are basically a Dendro/Electro vaporize.
Note: How to get Sapwood blade
You need to do the aranayaka quest or whatever it was called up until you unlock the tree of dreams
From there you can buy the blueprint from a aranara next to the tree.
Also if you want to lumine only as a dendro applicator , there’s no need to level up her talents, but leveling them up would increase your overall damage
Also at I think around level 4 you can get a midlander sword billet for the Sumeru sword
The quest trigger is somewhere between Sumeru City and Gandharva Ville iirc
Shinobu is great for the hyperbloom team due to her slower electro application, so you might want to use her instead of Keqing as the driver
Do whatever makes you enjoy the most, you end up making a good video regardless
I rlly like the challenge as it is, I love that you try pulling for sword characters on the banners. It makes the challenge super interesting because you try out these and it wont get boring. (Not that your videos ever get boring) And personally I don’t mind when you spend a little bit of money, because sometimes these characters can be really helpful.
Btw, I like both teams, I think keqin would be of more use in Sumeru but Kaeya would be great for freezing together with Xingqiu. So I would put myself in the “I don’t mind, as long as you like it it’s good” place^^

Bloom
Water + grass = seed
More than 5 seed equal seed go boom
Seed + fire = big boom (aoe) (hurts you)
Seed + thunder = missile (single target) (doesn't hurt you)
Quicken
Grass + thunder = power down (like superconduct)
Powerdown + grass = more grass number
Powerdown + thunder= more thunder number
Burning
Grass + fire = continuous fire
Honestly, I'm so happy to see you finally using Kuki, she's one of my favorites atm. She's also amazing for spectar farming because if you fall in the water with her skill going, you can still kill the spectars by electro-charged even while you're swimming. (Also, I don't mind if you use Keqing in your Sumeru-exploration team)
She is also a great physical dps, as she has good multipliers, works with 4 piece pale flame, and can still use all the shitty HP and EM rolls on the pieces you'd normally throw away. Right now she does decent physical damage while still producing lots of reactions and healing from the substats, and it was easy to farm for
Just FYI: You need to do a pretty long side-quest to get the Blueprint for the sword, and it uses a seperate material from the other craftable swords
Java! Dendro traveler actually makes keqing a lot stronger in damage! I suggest you use them both in abyss together 👍
Keqing is unironically the best 5star of the standard banner right now. Aggravate is a MASSIVE buff for electro!

as far as dendro reactions go, the general consensus is that aggravate (dendro + electro creates quicken, and if you apply dendro or electro to a quickened enemy you get a flat defense bonus) is rlly good for keqing bc of her decent electro application, while for hyperbloom kuki is prob the better option bc you're going to stack em on her and hyperbloom only scales off em and character lvl
but yeah, unless you want to try a fridge team with kaeya (dendro blooms + freeze), keqing would probably be the better option. that being said, fridge is also pretty cool imo
I'd prefer you using any fun teams that utilize the new dendro reactions, such as Keqing ^^ While you haven't used Kaeya in a while, he was very prominent at the beginning of the challenge, and using him now doesn't really offer anything new as he doesn't have reactions with dendro.
I think to help the whole genesis crystal situation would be placing a level cap at like 70 on all the characters. Then you can use the better weapons instead and characters won't need the same amount of investment as you reuse weapons and save on levelling

First of all, resurrect Kaeya pls) Second, the teams. I was thinking about it a lot for my own acc, being Kaeya main and all that... As I see it, you have two options: go for freeze comp with some occasional Hyperblooms from Kuki, or enjoy Elctro/Dendro reactions to the fullest by swapping to Keqing. If you go with the second option, maybe you'd do a Kaeya appreciation video and raise him to put my heart at rest? I mean it's up to you, how you play, but I'd enjoy some Kaeya presence on the screen.

I say that you should use Keqing, though, without the mistsplitter, as that was from all the genesis crystals, because all in all Keqing was actually from rolling with primos you earned in the 2.6 event.

Seeing people use Kaeya as a dps warms my heart :з I just personally prefer him over Keqing. I explore Sumeru with him on the team, even if i have to swith my team on every puzzle.
You can use kuki's elemental skill, xingquo's burst and lumines burst, to constantly proc hyperbloom because hydro and dendro don't interact with the little bloom fruit thing so only the electro will hit it, thus hyperbloom
I think you should use the keqing team!! It is a lot more fun and you enjoy it more :D it has dendro reactions which is great for sumeru exploring, and i think a lot of us can agree that we don't mind you using your better characters :)

to the artifact on 21:20 - you could very well get this on albedo if you want to use him in the party - because on 4 pieces this would make his skill really useful in lowering the enemies dendro res which should improve the dmg whatnot - albedos skill should be really decent for that

Leveling Dendro Traveler's talents are only for damage increase, and don't effect your reaction damage. Personally I would like to see Keqing instead of Kaeya, and the weapon blueprint (sword) is from a quest called aranyaka (i'm 99 % sure).
Reaction you're looking for is a hyro plus dandro Which causes reaction Bloom Then you hit the Bloom with electro and it makes the projectile

Dendro makes Electro absolutely broken. Quicken is an amazing reaction, and as an Electro main (I main Yae Miko and Fischl), Sumeru has been one of the easiest regions for me. My preferred Sumeru team is Yae Miko, Dendro Traveler, Yanfei, and Jean or Yelan (I haven't tried Barbara yet for reactions, but I am considering it.).
I wouldn't dare take away from you enjoying the new update, play who you like and people will appreciate you enthusiasm.
For a spread team you want EM on the dendro unit, but for hyperbloom you want EM on the electro unit because EM only counts for the element that triggers the reaction, so kuki is actually better than keqing for hyperbloom
So how I should build Kuki? Which artifact set is good on her and should I use em sands instead of hp electro cup and healing bonus criclet?
@@TheSzutekina I have millelith on her for the Hp and attack boost from using her skill and she scales off hp and Em so I would do Hp sands, EM Goblet and Hp or EM circlet (Hp if you want more burst damage) and she likes ER and Hp% as a substats, crit rate/damage aren’t as important for hyperbloom since I think it doesn’t crit

I was so looking forward to these series because of lots of dendro things in Sumeru that are mainly in places where you need an archer, but maybe Keqing can solve them, huh (I didn'tfinish watching the video yet so idk if you already tried that out). I myself mostly use swords and catalysts (and polearms) and most of the times I was climbing Zhongli pillar to reach those with my Xingqui or Lumine attacks haha
Kaeya has the whole running stamina thing but Keqing hyperbloom is just too fun to watch, makes me want to build my Keqing

dendro characters cant really trigger the reaction, it is only an "enabler" element (to create bloom seed and quicken status). So normal atk/crit stuff should be fine (at least for Dendro MC).

@@patchy4714 Only Tighnari can maximize spread at the current stage of the game, and Dendro MC is simply NOT built for Spread but rather to enable reaction (bloom seeds & quicken status) for other characters to trigger polymorphic reactions (yes this is the official term) or in simpler term, sub reactions.

I made a rule for myself since the game is easy after 600+ days of playing and it restricts my character choices to their regions. The Crux crew is an exception by means of a dedicated port. I have to do pyro reactions by swirling with Kazuha now. It is semi-difficult to find a source of pyro nearby to progress and complete puzzles, but its fun. (Team: Traveler, Collei, Beidou, Kazuha)
The swords only is pretty far in the game tbh

To be honest, Java, constantly nerfing your own account for challenge content makes it a bit underwhelming in my opinion. I think the growth of the account and overcoming challenges you once couldn't is what makes it entertaining, at least for me. If you constantly give yourself limitations so that you always have a challenge, it feels like there is no progression at all - or that the progression you got through is worthless. I think special episodes like "only using x characters" or "not using x character" are fine, but it's a bit sad to not see you use the characters you invested in because it would be "easy."
Regardless, I'm always gonna watch your content and can't wait to see the future of all your accounts! It's only fun if you enjoy it. Listen to the community but most importantly yourself!

In a hyperbloom team, your gonna get aggravate/spread as side anyway, which do scale with talent level although proportionally less than with other reaction like vape/melt.
Generally, DPS that rely on aggravate/spread want crit first then em/att.
Hyperbloom/burgeon wants em only (in your team with Kaeya, Kuki is the only character that will trigger hyperbloom so you can go full em on her)
That team would probably be call a fridge team and has some of the benefit of a frozen team mixed in with the dendro. Maybe less flexible for exploration but definitely something to consider for abyss. It seemed to work well for you and you don't have to worry about building em on anyone other then Kuki
