2025 X-Pro Templar 250 Backyard Track Ride / Can a stock 1,800$ Dirtbike jump a triple?

- Thank you everyone for tuning into my video! In today’s video we are back at the ranch and we are riding our track. We’ve made some changes to the track since last video on the KTM. I hope you guys enjoy and be on the lookout for more Templar content!

I got the xpro 250m up to 150 miles. Keep up the videos. I am 235 and 6 ft 6 so I added a ton of preload. I was able to do so with the bike on a stand, breaking the top collar loose, and then hitting the bottom collar with a flat head screw driver and hammer for about 10 min. It’s a few inches from where it came stock. I’d also recommend cleaning the spring threads best you can so it can slide down smoother.
@@aw3279 Yeah I did that for a little bit but it would take awhile to turn it to where I’d like it and I can only move it 1/8 of a turn at a time. If I pull it off I can really turn the spring a lot quicker. More work but easier in my opinion. I’m soon gonna make a video on suspension for these bikes. Planning on going through the forks and adding heavier fluid and adding preload to the forks
That video pretty much made my mind up about the Templar or the storm. I’ll put up with the extra weight of the Templar over the storm for that suspension. The only that’s coming off my Templar will be the battery for a lithium cause I need to ride it to the trails. If I do the AZBDR with it it has to be street legal. Glad to see somebody’s finally doing something with these bikes besides riding around their neighborhood!
@@larrybrandon8291 Mike Festive swapped the battery out for the Anti Gravity 401. You’ll drop 2.5 pounds just in the battery alone. So far stock battery has been doing good for me besides the weight
Nice riding. And nice track! You might want to remove a couple of trees by some of those turns. Otherwise you're going to be seen by a tree surgeon - for you, not the tree.
