I watched this video when it was made and I’m still impressed till this day, I wish other people would make knifes like yours but you’re the only I saw making THE perfect Krauser knife
You're one of the big reasons I got into knife making. You make some of the nicest looking knives on this platform. I picked up that flat filing technique from your videos and expanded the use of my drill press greatly because of you. I had no idea I could use it as an abrasive tool as well.
A little tip from when I worked with metal, for very fine flat filing we put some school blackboard chaulk on the flat file. This prevents the file from biting to deep in the metal.
Iulian Poplauschi I wouldn't say he is the most skilled KNIFE MAKER. I'd say anyone who forges from a steel bar and hammering into shape is much more patient and skilled.
thank you for showing me the Majestic Forge. it was the answer to all my problems. where once i used a charcoal forge and a bellows, it took me all day to make one rail spike knife. NOW i can put out 2 per hour and more. i was a bit expensive but worth its weight in silver
finalmente maquinas elétricas, ficar afiando faca so na lima é foda viu,vi vários videos desse cara afiando a faca manualmente, so na lima ,na paciência kkkkkk lindo trabalho
I've been watching a lot of the knife/blade making channels the last couple weeks, it's really cool you don't you super special tools. You make me want to try.
so im still really young only 21 but i love theses videos and i wanna make this a hobby can you telk me what are some basic things i need to buy to start making simple knifes
I'm in the middle of making another knife and would really love to know how you manage to turn your drill bit into a mini sander. How do you keep the sandpaper on? Would be perfect for getting into narrow areas such as the filework I'm doing
Just a little tip..if you move the blade back and forth when heat treating at evenly transferes the heat throughout the whole blade that way when quenching one part of the blade isn't hotter than other parts...keep up the good work your doing fantastic
Steve Cheh It sure did. I do not have to use files that much. I still want to show everyone how to make it with files, I mean the bevels with a filing jig.
Imagine a perspex or Plexiglas grip, so you could see the lovely drilling under it. Love your scabbard design BTW. Another lovely build. Your tool store is so compact & tidy (I'm impressed). In Sheffield UK I've seen buffs that couldn't fit in that tool store, the shaft alone was about 1.6m long.
@@HAHAHAHAWHYSOSERIOUS well this one is his own making but mine from kukri house is the same except for handle. 150 bucks, go online to kukri house and go through their knived, idk what section I found it on, I think survival knives or bowie, they got huge design selections of all makes and sizes.hand made ,top quality, it's a Lil big I think but I love it. Good job, _comrade_
TH-cam making the right suggestions, Krauser is badass.
Yes! This is the only knife I've seen made correctly! It has the finger notches! So you could do that cool knife spin that Krauser did!
I watched this video when it was made and I’m still impressed till this day, I wish other people would make knifes like yours but you’re the only I saw making THE perfect Krauser knife
Thanks JHG.
Stranger stranger now thats a weapon👍
Watching you sand and file a knife is one of the most relaxing and satisfying things that exist! You sir are a master!

Thanks for the compliment. We all started because of someone else showed us.
The editing on your videos is truly amazing!
Thank you.
“Been a long time, comrade.”
Krauser
WITNESS THE POWER
RE4 is my favorite game, so this is really dope to see, great job!
A little tip from when I worked with metal, for very fine flat filing we put some school blackboard chaulk on the flat file. This prevents the file from biting to deep in the metal.
Thank you for the tip.
Just make sure you don't almost let it slip, comrade...
Wow that's sick! I can already see myself cutting onions with that thing or ripping leon in pieces...
krauser will be proud !!
I watched both parts. You're a hell of a craftsman.
This is the weapon that's stopped a 23 foot monster
probably the most skilled knife maker out here. the patience ... outstanding
Iulian Poplauschi I wouldn't say he is the most skilled KNIFE MAKER. I'd say anyone who forges from a steel bar and hammering into shape is much more patient and skilled.
Iulian Poplauschi the knife wouldn't even last too long IF it were used. It would break because it isn't hardened.
i think krauser knife
is Bigger than
Leon knife?

I am loving my forge. What a difference in heat treating.
Slavik, good work 😎👍
Thats one of the best in my opinion
How much is this knife you made for sale? Can you mail it to China?

Hi Austin. Watch my fist video and you will see what tools I had in the beginning of my hobby.
I like the festive xmas music towards the end
I'm in the middle of making another knife and would really love to know how you manage to turn your drill bit into a mini sander. How do you keep the sandpaper on? Would be perfect for getting into narrow areas such as the filework I'm doing
Little bit of tape on sand paper and wrap it on the drill bit.
@@SLAVIKTELY that simple huh lol thank you for the reply. I appreciate it
@@SLAVIKTELY do you have the knife mold to print
This is better than all of the "most satisfying" whatever videos on youtube, thanks for the awesome content, keep it up :D

Only 250$ for this, u gotta be kiddin me. You deserve more. Well made and excellent job
Back then I didn't know how much to charge.
You catch on quick, but that’s expected.
Probably the most satisfying thing ever!! Nice video as always!
Also I would just like to note how smooth that music transition was!! Really makes a difference!
Would you make another one if I were to pay for it?
I really enjoyed the end when you were centre punching all the holes. Just the way you had it was like, bam... Bam... BamBamBamBamBam...
