  • I took the Alive DVD's version of Meshuggah's concert footage for the performance of Pravus and extruded it bit-by-bit into a digital alembic, using a magnetic resonator to bind the resulting solution to a frequency offset from my portable reverse Gellar field, recombining it crudely into this mpeg file which I just uploaded to the internet.

If anyone wants to find art related to this: H.R.Giger, Zdzislaw Beksinski, C.M.Koseman, Heironymus Bosch

I feel like the members of Meshuggah should watch this.
Not only does this tempo really bring out a different quality that would sound sick live, but I do feel like this type of visual portrayal in a video might help to bring about new ideas. As a long-time fan of the band, I would favor this outcome.

Please tell me you are taking commissions for this sort of thing. You should be making a very good living generating this sort of art for a certain kind of clientele. Hoping their people will be contacting your people soon.

The artwork here is bizarre and disturbing, the music is slowed down and just grooving as hell...
In case of artwork, Wizardhead is one legitimate successor after H.R. Giger

I used to use custom python scripts leveraging VQGAN and RIFE for tweening, later Disco Diffusion Jupyter notebook and lately I mostly use StableWarpFusion. You can learn more about the latter via Alex S's Patreon patreon.com/sxela and its companion Discord channel.

Their live shows have an almost trance state inducing quality with their layers of rhythmic syncopes tightly sequenced with Edvards next level lighting -- it's like some kind of close encounters of the hyperdimensional metal kind.

The quality and definition of every single frame is absolutely incredible. Best work in your channel so far. It's like watching an entire flipbook of paintings from Geiger, Beksinski and Dalì. Expecting to see stuff like this in museums at some point in the very near future. Also would be interesting to know what kind of paintings do you feed to the AI (or whatever algorithm you use) that creates this stuff.
EDIT: Ok I'm totally in love with this one. Some frames are shockingly beautiful, you could easily sell them as prints. Watching this without pausing every 2 seconds does not make it justice whatsoever.

The diffusers are good at blending sources. I use a lot of different artists' work as input depending on the goals, including Zdzislaw Beksinski, Dariusz Zawadzki, Mariusz Lewandowski (man those Polish surrealists are an amazing crew) as well as Dan Seagrave, HR Giger (of course) and many other of my personal favorites.

@@Wizardhead How did I not hear of Darius Zawardzki and Dan Seagrave before, thank you for the suggestion! It would be also cool if you tried integrating some works by Francis Bacon, if you haven't already (my profile pic is actually from one of his paintings haha). I personally prefer his lesser known pencil drawings, I saw some of them at an art exhibition.
Anyway keep doing the good stuff 👍

On my 21st i saw Tool live for the first time. I had eaten about half an ounce of the bluest shrooms I'd ever seen, taken 3 or 4 buttons of mescaline, and just before the show 21 hits of some NASTY LSD. This is essentially what my head was doing that whole show.
