Additionally the mirror she has easy access to is in a save place where she wouldn't be surprised by the sudden sight of herself.

But it's not a good test because it's hard to judge whether or not the animals reaction indicates it sees itself, it thinks it's another animal, or whether it pays any attention to it at all. We still don't know if any animals even have a sense of self to test, or even if such a thing could be tested by humans, because animal minds probably work totally differently to our own.

Facecams work well for streaming because there's a fair amount of interactivity with the audience, but TH-cam vids have no such interactivity.
My dog looks at others in the mirror. If he's near a mirror and I call his name, he'll look at my reflection in the mirror. Doesn't seem that bothered with looking at himself though.
