To me the old school Traag figure didn't look like he was made of rock. I'm curious to see how Super 7 translates this one. But overall I really like these figures. The Triceratons are pretty awesome too.
Dan is incorrect: the chests pieces are also identical. They have just been modified with extra (and VERY solidly glued-on and hidden) overlay pieces to make them look slightly different. Granitor has a collar piece glued overtop the chest piece, and Traag has two small rocky clusters on his shoulders, and of course, they have their individual badges. The only parts on these figures that aren't completely reused between them are the heads and necks, and Granitor's upper arms. Even the lower arms are identical, they just turned Traag's forearms upside-down for Granitor's forearms. Which is clever, I think! My biggest issue is that both of their legs are WAY too short, primarily because their legs are stupid small. In a few scenes, yes, the Stone Warriors looked like their legs were disproportional like this (because '80s animation was always janky), but in actual head-on shots, their legs were properly proportional, and each of these guys was twice as tall as the TMNT themselves. These two should have been released individually as deluxes, that's how tall they should be. But even that would be forgivable . . . except Granitor is also completely off-model. His body is supposed to be a smooth-sided inverted pyramid/trapezoid shape. He's supposed to be a carved slab, not a chunky rock formation. Yes, I get why they didn't do that, reuse and budget constraints, but . . . they went for strict accuracy for cartoon Slash and Leatherhead over videogame Slash and Leatherhead. I'm disappointed they made Granitor look so . . . wrong.
Well, Traag is shorter than Shredder just on that central horn on his helmet - and the figures depicts it perfectly. Granitor is above Traag just with his helmet - just like Neca did. And they shouldn't be taller, since the android body is way higher than them. To me, I always thought that Traag and Granitor were some kind of parallel to Rocksteady and Bebop. I mean, general and rhino are both short and wide, both had an bunch of minions to boss around and they are both aren't exactly smart. Bebop and Granitor are both tall, lanky, buffoonish and have this weird shoulder pads fetish. But the stone warriors were less incompetent, more deadlier and experienced in the case of war => just like their bosses, Shredder is the ninja master, who can invent unusual war machines, but Krang has the real amount of power with his technology.
The neutrino wanted posters didnt come with my figures. I reached out to neca and they were basically all "good luck. We cant help you, try returning them or exchanging them"
Hey dan. This is sledgemaster. Those are wonderful looking cartoon figures. They did a wonderful job on the detail and cartoonish look. I don't know anything about them but I like the look. Good night to ur family and god bless
Hey dan do u remember the review the predator action finger that u did 2 weeks ago well i just picked up the predator the u reviewed 2 weeks ago i can't wait to put him with my collection
Is paint chipping something that is normal with this brand? I've never bought a NECA figure. I was thinking about getting back into TMNT since the last one I bought was in the early 90's. Target has NECA TMNT figures (for a slightly elevated price). But, the paint chipping has me a bit hesitant on buying any figure from NECA. As I asked, is the paint issue normal?
Whereas Traag was a recurring character, Granitor only appeared in the one episode of the cartoon right in the first season. He'd probably be completely forgotten except that he was made a boss in the iconic arcade game. Of course that was done because they only had the first season to go by when the game was made thus had limited characters to choose from (hence why Baxter appears only in his human form in the game) It is nice to finally have him in figure form. I also really hope we get the Neutrinos too. Though I wonder if they'll come in a three pack or each separate with someone else (and if so who?)

I wished back in the day Granitor had his own figure. The old school Traag looked nothing like his cartoon counterpart.
Neca nailed the animated look with these two.
I see Dan is getting lucky at his target recently.
You like cheese
@@Ilovefnaf1987 you like broccoli 🥦

I forgot how different Traag was when comparing it to the old school toy
Im so sad because playmates didn't made traag & granitor for 2012 series
Those figures looks so cool with the sculp & cell shading.
Incredible figures, these two felt so good to mess around with and pose. They did a great job on these figures.
I still have my OG version of the brown one. Heavily used/loved.
I just got these I’m actually impressed I ordered the bebop and rocksteady
It’s awesome to know as a collector in Canada I gotta just hope I get lucky enough to find any of them at all

What is the retail price of these?
I wish NECA would just stop painting the joints to avoid all this flaking
Dan why does the figures have each other boots. Look like the black boots should go on the grey rock guy and the brown goes on the other

I'm pretty sure the name Traag is heavily influenced by (one of) the dutch word for slow. (Traag is litterally slow in Dutch)
I feel like the quality control in this line is starting to slip badly.
The legs are loose, but not Super7 loose.
non durable goons
cool
