    Looks good. But I've had so many problems with this watch. Had it for about 6 months.
    Sync-problems, showing the correct time and the touch screen that always
    triggers. The touchscreen activates all the time. A slight touch or a
    drop of water. If I don't lock the screen the watch is doing something
    different every time I look at it.
    It's vibrating all the time and says "GOAL!" even though I'm just home with my children. Its driving me mad!
    I will not buy a Garmin again.

    That sounded more like 10 reasons to buy a smart watch/fitness tracker. Apart from Garmin pay, none of the rest of features are unique to the vivoactive, let alone Garmin, including the price.

    • @MaxxKoggen
      @MaxxKoggen 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @RaLLyKaTz OoO it's also a start watch. You clearly the one that doesn't know what you're talking.
      The fitbit charge is more a fitness tracker than this thing.
      And don't diss on the apple watch. It's clearly the best all round device on the market.
      And my point was, these aren't 10 reasons to but this specific devices since none of the 10 mentioned things are unique to it. It's more a generic 10 things for wrist companions than anything else. Learn to read properly.

    Touchscreen on watches make no sense. Buttons are far more useful than a touchscreen. I can use them very well without having to look at the watch. I can use any gloves and I can use it from under my sleeves/gloves. Also the touchscreen looks very sluggish and if that is how bad it is when it is new, I can't imagine it being usable after a few years.

    I've had Garmin Vivoactive 3 and I can't tell anything good about this device. OK, it is nice watch, lot of different options etc. But quality is bad for that price. It is always good in the videos and photos, but in reality it is different, It feels cheap.
    I have bougth it in January this year, 3 months after it started to act weird (vibrating by itsef, lights on by itself...), sideswipe option stopped working, and lastly, touchscreen completely died. I was at Garmin center and they said that it cant be repaired and gave me a new one. Few weeks ago, new one Vivoactive3 also startet to act weird. Vibrating by itself etc. Then I sold it. Now I own Fenix5 for about 1 month and I am satisfied.

    It’s a good watch, but unfortunately the only things that lets things down, is the sharpness of the graphics, it’s just not sharp enough. For $499 AUS I was expecting a little better. It’s just looks to bland and makes the watch look and feel cheap. The colours are not very bright. It all looks a little cheap. I will upload a pic to show what I mean. It’s a shame cause it is a good watch.

    Do not buy this watch. I own one and only had it for a little over a year now and already the battery died twice on it. First time was six months after using it without the GPS turned on and the brightness turned down the battery just suddenly started draining really fast. It used to last a week then it started lasting less a six hours. First time I contacted the company and had to send it back to them which cost me shipping costs and a few weeks of waiting but they sent me another one which worked great again. But six months later same problem. Only difference is this time when I tried sending it back they told me the warranty just expired and it would cost $99 to have them fix it. I only had the watch now for 14 months but now it's completely useless. Battery drains in less than half a day and I can't find out how to fix it myself. Don't trust these ads. Garmin doesn't stand behind their products. Just buy a normal watch because these watches won't get you fit only you can do that and no fitness watch is gonna help with that.

      Dude...same problem. Lucky for me tho the battery drain issue started day 3 so I was able to just take it back...for a Fitbit versa 2..my wife has one and her battery last days. Anyway it lasted two days the third day it was at 38% so I figured it would make it another day....i took it off to shower ....got out out it on and it was at 9% . Charged it and in 2 hours in was at 52 %>>>>>>>>>>>off to the store I went. Besides the screen resolution being horrible and the battery taking a shit...I did like everything else...but the versa 2 is a far better watch
