I stumbled across this song via Napster way, way back in 2000 and it was exactly the type of sound that I craved having endured the mediocrity of the 90s. As soon as I found a copy of Voices & Images in Toronto a few months later it was mine and has always remained within reach after many other cds got packed away in boxes. Absolutely superb!

They are great. Excellent English pronunciation, too. Would never guess they are German except for the cool factor. I wish every band and all music sounded this much like Depeche Mode. I'd be a happy girl.
A classic synthpop song from a classic debut. In my opinion Camouflage and Depeche Mode are both great bands to an extend Depeche Mode is more influential and popular.

@@dumichauch9556 That's not hard. Overrated jerks they are, with a singer with a hooligan's voice who sounds so embarrassing when he tries to impart 'disturbing' feeelings and thoughts. Gore's supremely basic and of entirely fake portent. Camouflage sound really intelligent, and with a better grasp of songcraft, and a much better vocalist. Ignored just like Alphaville were (both German-what a shocker). They did the same to Sandra and Claudia Brucken.
