Telugu industry also covers Hindi audience with Hindi dubbing.. you can see the south indian film TH-cam views .. only regional language audience will not be able to produce so much views.. North Indian guys are also interested in south films.. but not vice versa ...
Bengali industry died only because of elite people of Kolkata who looked down upon commercial cinema with such disdain…. South Indian commercial movies have no storyline , send physics into coma with their action and have vulgar item songs…. Mind you, after that, they have made extraordinary films like Super Deluxe and Jai Bhim…..But that is the demand of audience and power of starpower…. If Bengali industry has to survive it must make commercial cinema, make monney and sign a friendship treaty with Bangladesh so that the films of at least the big stars get a release there…..other than pure commercial , lots of great Bengali films can be made from Bengali literature , eg Indubala bhater hotel(a series) but audience is loving it….
