I actually remember when all stockings came in a box with tissue!! Of course, your stockings won't stay up without a pair of garters!! Back when I wore fuller dresses, I wore garters and stockings every day! Very comfortable!! Now it can be difficult to find real stockings!! Back in the 80s we wore bobby socks with heels all the time! It was fun being a "Material Girl"!!

A VERY SAD DAY INDEED!!!!
They are still considered the "Rolls Royce" of flat knit, nylon stockings.
During the mid-1980s & beyond, I sought after & bought EVERY BOX of Hanes Nylons
I could find...to keep my wife well supplied. I am a born "leg-man". As a young boy of
the 1960s, I fell in-LOVE with Hanes Nylon Stockings. But that's another story. 🙂
Before my divorce, I took EVERY BOX of Hanes from my ( to be ) ex-wifes' closet.
Now, these sensual, gossamer delicacies adorn the legs & feet of my goddess wife.
For what it's worth, I only bought the Reinforced Heel & Toe style of Hanes Stockings.
I bought more than 100 boxes//500pair. I prefer their South Pacific color, RHT nylons. Dearest Steph, It would be AWESOME to see you model a pair of these "vintage" Hanes Reinforced Heel & Toe Nylon Stockings.

These were made on different machines. They are NOT their "Rolls Royce"
flat knit type of sheer nylon stockings. So, I never bought any of this style.
If you ever adorn your beautiful legs with a pair of gossamer, flat knit nylons,
they'll spoil ya' for life...BUT...you won't regret it. 🙂

Where's the corsett to keep the stocking from falling down? They, the stockings look very sheer on you. You are a sweet version of Drew Barrymore. A very high class gentle Lady you are, too.
