@@thevillainmarcbowman6349 Cool but what the hell was he talking about the last part of the interview? Something about a boat that didn't even have air conditioning and for some reason that's hilarious.
I don't know why the comments below are about Flair going off topic. Did they not listen to what Ric said about Buddy? Anyways, Ric was right: Buddy Rogers and Ray Stevens were two of the rare guys in the 70s who did high-spots. Rogers was ahead of its time with the Fargo Strut and the flamboyant promos. RIP Buddy Rogers.
Lol the guy whose gimmick he took from, one of the most influential wrestlers ever, the guy who was so popular in the North East that the WWWF split from the NWA for the first time. "He tanned"
He made it quite clear! They were flying to see their wives and something something Ric "flipped" a couple times, slept at the foot of Buddy's bed, and someone went on a boat and it didn't have air conditioning and all of that was hilarious to Ric.
This is why I am listening to this podcast less and less. A question about Buddy Rogers devolves into some rambling about Ric and Arn and sleeping near his bed cause Ric was “flipped”? The guy is all over the place.
I think the takeaway from this video is that the two Nature Boys probably did care too much for one another, so Ric wasn't going to spend a lot of time talking about Buddy. The older you get, the more likely you are to drift away from a subject instead of saying something unpleasant about another person.
Ok serious question for real wrestling fans: what the eff is he talking about when he says "Arn knew I had flipped..." What is "flipped"? The entire video is a waste if you don't know what that means, and I don't know what that means.
Great job keeping him on topic, Conrad. We want to hear about Buddy Rogers and this guy is talking about tanning and sleeping with Arn Anderson in Mexico. Wtf is this shit?
Like every other podcast featuring a pro wrestling legend from the past this show has reached the point where it's all been said already. Love Ric Flair but this show is boring and Ric can't even stay on topic.
What an amazing tribute to Buddy Rogers. He had a tan.
Ric: "Can you keep a secret?"
Conrad: "Of course."
Ric: "So can I. Woooooh!"
No, he definitely cannot. 🤣
So Tanning was the biggest take away from Buddy? LOL!!
@@Billable_Ours Haha well said lol
Flair gets off topic so easily.
It’s his show

I didn’t learn much about Ric working with Buddy Rogers from this video, but as always I enjoyed the hell out of what Flair had to say.
He slurs his words so badly that his speaking pattern reminds me of Sleepy Joe.
Before Ric Flair it was Buddy Rogers the original Nature Boy
Have you seen terry funk vs lawler ?

RIP Buddy Rogers.
Rare guys that did high spots, my ass. 😂
Buddy Rogers barely wrestled in the 70s, anyway.
Flair stole my moves!
I'm over 50 years old, I'm in great shape, drive a shiny blue 300c and wear a pinky ring. I feel like a nature boy too
Anyway…about Buddy Rogers?
i was under the impression this was about buddy rogers.
We must understand. Ric is a very emotional man.
Great wrestler
What hell does any of this rambling have to do with Buddy Rogers😠
I heard Buddy Rogers was an early source in the popularization of chain wrestling.
And chain smoking, too.
Lmao, no. 😂
Not at all.
Depending On Who You Ask The Original Creator Of The Figure Four Leglock Is The Nature Boy Buddy Rogers And Then Eddie Graham
Jack, Jerry and Squish Brisco.

Tell us about Buddy Rodgers
Ric:(Starts talking about tanning)
I have no clue what the hell the last part was about. Wtf?

Imagine 75 year old Ric, with a dark tan. 😂

Talking about Buddy Rogers for 45 seconds.
“Does that make thenth?” No, Ric.
So no actual info on working with Buddy Rogers. Can we say bait and switch, lol?

the footage i've seen of flair vs rogers looks like an exciting late 1970s match, flair's too critical of it

Huh?
Flair wouldn't b good enuf to even meet Bruno, or Lou Thez n several others.
