I visited in 1971 and wrote a comment card to Colonial Williamsburg about how phony the place was because they knew damn well the whole city was built by slave labor and most of artisans and servants were enslaved.

I have visited Williamsburg many years ago, and there is tons of history (especially Black history) there. I would not mind going there to visit again. 😊
My family is from Southampton County, Virginia. They also purchased more than 100 acres of land in the late 1800s that they worked to provide for their families. They were treated with respect. More than half the land is still owned by descendants.
Get it the black people are smart industrious have far more imagination than people want to give them credit for but God blessed them immensely and they are to me going to lead us in relationships with God the underlying backbone of America who we all owe our respect and dignity to but still don't get from some people but we just keep on ticking and those who are prejudice and hateful walk to a bad place and can't even see their demise wow
