I think the water basin would make a cool planter. Fill it with dirt and petunias then put it out front of the stable.

I was thinking with the Veggie Boys right next door they probably have access to a lot of fresh produce, but yeah, a little veggie garden would be cool too. Herbs, potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, or other plants not at the farm market.

My brother wanted me to tell you that using a hot solder iron with a flat blade will melt the plastic and seal the crack on most things. I'm however, thinking not, considering the weight of the water on the new seal. Might be worth a try before you toss it aside as I'm sure they are expensive at that size. Love all the videos you and the veggie boys make and glad your family is so close. I grew up in a close knit family and know the love we have shared all these years. Please continue reminding me, and others, to hit the Like button, as I'm a Senior I do forget some things. Please tell the Veggie Boys to continue to do the same. I look forward to see "WHO" will be telling me each time to Hit the Like Button. A fun way to remind us. May this summer be good for both families. I do recognize Samson, Weather and Tucker. They are so easy to recognize. Thanks for sharing/ Faye from Texas

I have been watching the veggie boys for quite some time but I just discovered your channel Joel. I am a big horse lover and I was amazed at how the horses would come in and you called him by name, each one, and then they knew right where to go,… With the exception of the new horse. You definitely have some beautiful horses and while I read your intro, I didn’t get a feel for whether you’re boarding these horses for others or whether you own the horses.
It really doesn’t matter but you have quite a nice stable barn and set up and I was very impressed. I sent your website to my sister who loves horses as much if not more than I do. I know she too will be impressed with your set up
By the way, Champ was my favorite horse but that’s because I’m partial to Paints.
Can’t wait for the next video. You have an easy voice to listen to Joel❣️

Most are boarders, but they own 5 horses, one of which is leased. But the great thing is that you would never know that they aren't their horses. They treat all of the horses with kindness and truly love them all. I laugh because sometimes My horses, Sam and Tucker, prefer their barn mom(Dawn) or Joel because they dont make them work and they feel safe there❤❤ I love knowing my big boys are happy and safe at SKS aka the stable life family barn. So glad you like the show!

Do you deworm on a schedule or do you do it after a fecal sample? When we had a difficult horse to deworm we would keep a couple of the used tubes and wash them out. Then every few days we would "dose" them with a tube full of applesauce. It was amazing how fast they started looking forward to the tube! On real deworming days they got two tubes, first dewormer, then applesauce.

My canoe repair has lasted with no leaks, and the canoe has dragged along river bottoms. The last time I bought it, about 5 years ago, was $50.00. So isn’t the older guy standing at the rear of the horses messing with his phone a safety issue? Casino bucked and kicked the door off the hinge. Doesn’t seem to be a safe place. Plus a couple of times he patted the rears during the goop and it was just another stimulus that they reacted to that could have led to unsafe kicking. Just saying. Pretty slick system you have.
