Yes, definitely helps with mixing those thicker resins and helps to reduce bubbles.....you need it for sure!!!

A lot of people complain that these add bubbles...but thats because they dont do it correctly. If you do use it manually...remember to keep the paddle as deep as possible in the resin and don't EVER move it up and down while it's mixing...that just adds air (bubbles)!!

It says hands free, but I find I have to hold the cup or it spins around, is there a way to stop this?

@originalminx your cup is too small, just use a larger cup and no more hand-holding.
