    This practice was excellent. I loved the incorporation of the blocks, which makes me more confident to use blocks in my regular practice. Thanks.

    Hi Janice ! When doing the downward facing dog, do our feet have to be flat on the floor ? I do not manage not to lift my heels. Thank you for the class

    Okay, 2 questions.
    Question 1, when you speak on the breathing, do you mean we use our diaphragm? The way we naturally breathe, our stomach expands when we inhale, but when using our diagram, our rib cage expands when we inhale. Is that how we should should be breathing?
    Question 2, how long should we hold each pose, and each transition within each pose (I hope that made sense. For example, the first stretch you showed and the transitions with each leg before switching, do we hold for a certain length of time, or until we feel the muscle start to relax a bit as it begins to get used to the stretch?

    Love your teaching so much, gonna practice these now, haha. And may I know what background music you play in this video? so relaxing.

    • @JaniceLiou
      @JaniceLiou  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      呂庭宥 ! Thank you! It’s a bunch of tracks from unknown artists (it’s an app for creating videos) but one of the artists is PALA if that helps! Glad to hear the music is enjoyable though! 💕🙏

    Thanks a lot, it's very very helpful❤ But do I need to warm up before these exercises?

    • @JaniceLiou
      @JaniceLiou  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Анастасия Швецова you’re welcome! You can do a moving warm up (see the flexibility guide for splits warm up), but the floor sequence is meant to pretty much warm you up ☺️
