Heres a detailed guide from my knowledge of the backdoors HASTE: Haste will only attack you if you neglect the timer of the doors you opened. To avoid Haste you must find some levers that have a timer on it. It will add more time and stall Haste. So you have to wind up the time if you see a lever. The music you hear in the background durning your runs indicates the times lifespan. It will get more instense once the timer reaches 0:00 meaning your time has came to an end. BUT! you can cheese it if the timer reaches 0:00 and you find a lever you can get out of Haste grasp and live more long (ive experienced this once i got to the end and there was a lever and saved myself since Haste was about to kill me) ---------------------------------------------- Blitz: an alterante of Rush. Its a combo of rush and ambush. It will rebound randomly till it reaches an unopened door. You can stay in the closets for however long you like. ---------------------------------------------- Lookman: used to be a scrapped doors character but made it! Its just a tall red entity that stays in its place. Its only hostile if you look at it. Its basically Eyes but worse. You will know if it spawned if you hear a bang sound and your screen goes dark for a bit, its best you look at the ground since the hitbox is pretty sensitive ---------------------------------------------- Vacuum: you have a random chance to get killed by it if you open a door that doesnt have a timer and a number by it. Its best to not open any doors that dosent having a timer or a number on it since vacuumn may be behind it... Its basically Dupe but worse. BUT! You can cheese it and avoid death by going up to a unumbered door from the side and quickly back away and possibly avoid vacuum if its on the other side.
I think Haste is an inspiration off of of a monster in spookys jump scare mansion. Haste most likely inspired by specimen 7: The Trapper from A game that inspired doors. Especially since there are words on the jump scare and has the same color pallet

They made it a red skull, it attacks when you aren't fast enough (this includes being afk for too long), come towards you and then make a text appear on your entire screen which moves from the top right to the bottom left before instant killing the player, just like in Spooky's Jump scare mansion It was completely inspired from it for sure.

I don't think I'd be able to handle the Backdoors, also considering I haven't really beaten Doors yet. Maybe it could return as a modifier one day so I could play it when I feel like I'm ready... but as someone still quite new to Doors, I don't think I'm ready to handle this. I'd like to see this return as a modifier eventually. EDIT: Just read the sign. It will apparently be playable after the event is over, but will be much harder than it is. I think maybe it'll take lots of time before I am comfortable enough to take on the challenge that is the Backdoors after The Hunt ends. This update looks really cool, by the way.
I actually lost halfway through but still got the badge because my teammate made it to the end. I’m not sure if it was a glitch or not, but it will probably help to bring another player if you’re not sure! Also eases the anxiety imo😂

Also it's pretty easy tbh, alot easier than normal doors. Just look with a 45° angle at the floor and any time the light flickers get in a closet (if they break or only 1 flickers you don't have to most of the time (you'll hear them anyway)) and don't try looting, it wastes too much time you can if you really want to, but all the stuff you earn you just get in the main doors once you beat it. I do realize this is a pretty lifeless way of playing it, but if ya just want to beat it then it's pretty easy.
You're probably thinking of Specimen 9, he's the floating red head thing that shows up in the endless hallway or when you go afk for too long without pausing.
Explanation on all the entities in the backdoors: Haste (Red skull thingy): When you open the doors, there’s timers there. That is actually the timer for when haste will appear, and if he does appear then he’s gonna kill you so you do not want the timer to finish. So curious light sets out levers for you that increase the timers time by a minute so you can reduce the time when haste comes. When he does come then you can escape by finding another lever but you aren’t always lucky. Blitz (rush ambush thingy): So basically rush and ambush gave birth to blitz or something like that. They will either rebound or not depending on your time in the timer. If your time is low, like 30 seconds or below, then blitz won’t rebound at all. However, if you have a lot of time, then they will rebound either 2 or 3 times. And there’s no hide in the backdoors so if they rebound you don’t need to get out and go back in like what you do with ambush. Vacuum (empty void door thingy): When you open a blank door that doesn’t have anything, no timer and negative number, then there’s a chance of a small room that either has a lever or a place to hide from blitz. However, there’s also a chance of vacuum appearing. If you go inside it, then you’re gonna fall and die. I recommend you to not just go straight inside when you open a blank door, but instead open it and go back and then check if there is vacuum inside or not. Lookman (shadow boi with amogus eyes): Basically eyes’ brother. If you hear a weird bang sound, then he spawned. He has a pretty tedious hitbox, so even if you didn’t hear the spawn sound, then I recommend you don’t always look up and occasionally look down when opening more doors. If you look at him and his big ahh hitbox, then he’ll take a quarter of your health. I died to this mf twice today so be careful.
Mike accidentally drank the potion immediately at the end not knowing you could bring it into the hotel, put it in the rift to make another rift that can only hold one item being perfect for storing the tablet.
Doors fanmade lore: Chapter 1: the new hotel Doors hotel has recently opened in bloxity and people were enjoying the hotel, It was even on the news. The hotel is doing great. But 8 days later after doors hotel released there was a mysterious sighting. Chapter 2: The sighting A person recently moved into robloxity (dan) and reported a sighting in doors hotel that he found a strange figure with 1 eye and was a tall black figure. He reported it to the hotel manager but the manager did nothing about the sighting. Chapter 3: Exposed The new comer of robloxity (dan) reported it to the mayor (tomska) then the mayor took action about the hotel owner (mark) then mark was found innocent, And the employees of doors hotel built monsters and placed them in rooms. Chapter 4: Closed The monsters commit Genocide and literally kill everyone in the hotel now all the employees are down in the void in the backdoors then they try to search for humans and if they find humans they kill them, Mark the hotel owner sits in his office thats also in the deep void in the backdoors, Then he closes the hotel. Chapter 5: The explorer The hotel is abondened but a explorer finds a way in then he uses a elevator, He finds monsters in the doors and eyes almost got him, But guiding light helped him He got the baddest heart attack when figure was so close to him when in the library. Then he survives all monsters and activates the elevator on door 100. Chapter 6:the mines He finds himself in the mines he is super scared, But he got the flashlight out of his backpack and calmed himself down. Deep down in the mines he slowly tries to avoid all monsters then he dies by mega seek by falling in lava trying to dodge seek by parkouring on the steps. But guiding light heals him, He gets filled with determination and on door 199 he rushed super quickly, The fastest hes been in his life to avoid ambush, He survives and makes it back. Chapter 7: the backdoors He finds this strange room with a blue light and goes in one of the elevators, he finds a timer and is curious what it does, But hes still filled with determination. Soon he encounters strange monsters that have similar abillities as the monsters on floor 1, he realizes that some of the doors are negative and he thinks hes in the deepest floor, So he tries to escape and on the last 4 seconds of the timer he manages to go back to the lobby he goes out of the hotel and tells the military Chapter 8:the final stand He finds the hotel manager grabbing him from the back and luring him into the office and he fights with the employees then the hotel manager calmly lifts his knife out of his pockets, And points it at the explorer (the explorer’s name is david) then the explorer dodges the knife throw and steals it from the manager. killing all entitys monsters and employees and the manager Chapter 9: Back home He goes away from the hotel and goes back to his house chilling watching tv. Chapter 10: Oldest hotel 2 years later, The explorer david, Told his friend about the hotel and told his friend to come with him. He realized that he didnt kill all the monsters because he realized that there was a portal in the mines That leads to Rooms. He goes in and he finds out this is the oldest hotel, He finds the oldest monster is A-60 he encounters A-60 and dodges him by quickly going in the locker. Chapter 11: The roads After 2 hours in the rooms. He finally gets out but he got sucked into another portal, HE WENT TO THE HARDEST FLOOR, Floor 3 is the ROADS. When he was in the roads he encountered new monsters and to avoid them you have to go to the sidewalk. On road 100 you finally go out of the hotel. Then he encounters Markiplier the car David the explorer and his friend jackson Dodge the car. They reach the construction road where crasher chases them. Then Jackson and david the 2 explorers Parkour on the roads and dodge the excavators. Then they reach road 100 And finally go back home. And kills every entity Chapter 12: Finally over He tells the military about the doors hotel and then the military nukes it. Chapter 13 Finally back He knows that theres no more in doors hotel. So he goes back to his house in robloxity to sleep.
Hey, here's something i learned on my first run about the Lookman: you can look down, not directly and it wont hurt you. I always look down during my runs so the Lookman wont hurt me also the name ''Lookman'' is just absurd when I didn't know this, I raged so much when it appeared because whenever I got hurt and disappeared, another one would be either on the next floor, or just appeared in front of me like a second later 3 more times and kill me Edit: I just watched the whole thing and I think bijuu mike realized so nvm
4:45 You might be already aware of this but just in case you aren't, a vacuum is the definition of a space devoid of matter or (with very little matter). I believe they are referring to that kind of vacuum, as opposed to a vacuum cleaner (I believe vacuum cleaners are named after vacuums, though!) Perhaps you have heard of "the vacuum of space". Space is a near-perfect vacuum. Because there is so little matter, its pressure is extremely low. Because of that, if it is exposed to a space that has high pressure, the matter will be "sucked" from the space of higher pressure into the space of lower pressure in order to create a state of equilibrium where everything has the same pressure. That's why in-game when you stand too close to the door you get "sucked" into the vacuum.
Pro tip for people struggling with doors hunt. #1: just like hardmode, when you enter a room, quickly look around the area and look down, or the shadow will hurt you #2: there are only 3 entities, (blitz: just like rush/ambush, mostly sound que and sometimes lights), (shadow: looking at it deals damage), (haste: its just like getting a time over in a sonic game) (the void isnt a entity, its just opening a door into space) #3: make sure to always get the levers you see with numbers, so you don't get a time over #4: only go for the doors with a black box on them, going for doors without them could lead to you dying. its never worth the risk. #5: its like the rooms where the deeper you're into it, the more darker it gets (you can't use a flashlight because this technically is before you even get to door 1 in the main game) That's all the tips i have, good luck and get coins for the massive potion at the end so when your at the start, you can put it in the rift as a trophy for you to remember. Edit: i forgot to mention, when you DO get a time over, before you die a red aura is around your screen, thats like a 10 second count until you get a switch, so when you are at 00:00 then you have to make it your main priority for getting a switch, because if you don't your dead.

Eh we should thank the hunt for making Doors update. I thought the game would die! So I think this mode kinda felt like a DLC cuz most DLCs share the backstory of HOW the main game happened OR shares the next story after the main game. Like Cuphead delicious last course! Vacuum (empty void door thingy): When you open a blank door that doesn’t have anything, no timer and negative number, then there’s a chance of a small room that either has a lever or a place to hide from blitz. However, there’s also a chance of vacuum appearing. If you go inside it, then you’re gonna fall and die. I recommend you to not just go straight inside when you open a blank door, but instead open it and go back and then check if there is vacuum inside or not.
Lookman (shadow boi with amogus eyes): Basically eyes’ brother. If you hear a weird bang sound, then he spawned. He has a pretty tedious hitbox, so even if you didn’t hear the spawn sound, then I recommend you don’t always look up and occasionally look down when opening more doors. If you look at him and his big ahh hitbox, then he’ll take a quarter of your health. I died to this mf twice today so be careful.

Mike accidentally drank the potion immediately at the end not knowing you could bring it into the hotel, put it in the rift to make another rift that can only hold one item being perfect for storing the tablet.
Good thing: use only one drawer so you don’t have time Bad thing: checking more drawers is distracting if you hear blitz.
Doors fanmade lore:
Chapter 1: the new hotel
Doors hotel has recently opened in bloxity and people were enjoying the hotel, It was even on the news. The hotel is doing great. But 8 days later after doors hotel released there was a mysterious sighting.
Chapter 2: The sighting
A person recently moved into robloxity (dan) and reported a sighting in doors hotel that he found a strange figure with 1 eye and was a tall black figure. He reported it to the hotel manager but the manager did nothing about the sighting.
Chapter 3: Exposed
The new comer of robloxity (dan) reported it to the mayor (tomska) then the mayor took action about the hotel owner (mark) then mark was found innocent, And the employees of doors hotel built monsters and placed them in rooms.
Chapter 4: Closed
The monsters commit Genocide and literally kill everyone in the hotel now all the employees are down in the void in the backdoors then they try to search for humans and if they find humans they kill them, Mark the hotel owner sits in his office thats also in the deep void in the backdoors, Then he closes the hotel.
Chapter 5: The explorer
The hotel is abondened but a explorer finds a way in then he uses a elevator, He finds monsters in the doors and eyes almost got him, But guiding light helped him He got the baddest heart attack when figure was so close to him when in the library. Then he survives all monsters and activates the elevator on door 100.
Chapter 6:the mines
He finds himself in the mines he is super scared, But he got the flashlight out of his backpack and calmed himself down. Deep down in the mines he slowly tries to avoid all monsters then he dies by mega seek by falling in lava trying to dodge seek by parkouring on the steps. But guiding light heals him, He gets filled with determination and on door 199 he rushed super quickly, The fastest hes been in his life to avoid ambush, He survives and makes it back.
Chapter 7: the backdoors
He finds this strange room with a blue light and goes in one of the elevators, he finds a timer and is curious what it does, But hes still filled with determination. Soon he encounters strange monsters that have similar abillities as the monsters on floor 1, he realizes that some of the doors are negative and he thinks hes in the deepest floor, So he tries to escape and on the last 4 seconds of the timer he manages to go back to the lobby he goes out of the hotel and tells the military
Chapter 8:the final stand
He finds the hotel manager grabbing him from the back and luring him into the office and he fights with the employees then the hotel manager calmly lifts his knife out of his pockets, And points it at the explorer (the explorer’s name is david) then the explorer dodges the knife throw and steals it from the manager. killing all entitys monsters and employees and the manager
Chapter 9: Back home
He goes away from the hotel and goes back to his house chilling watching tv.
Chapter 10: Oldest hotel
2 years later, The explorer david, Told his friend about the hotel and told his friend to come with him. He realized that he didnt kill all the monsters because he realized that there was a portal in the mines That leads to Rooms. He goes in and he finds out this is the oldest hotel, He finds the oldest monster is A-60 he encounters A-60 and dodges him by quickly going in the locker.
Chapter 11: The roads
After 2 hours in the rooms. He finally gets out but he got sucked into another portal, HE WENT TO THE HARDEST FLOOR, Floor 3 is the ROADS. When he was in the roads he encountered new monsters and to avoid them you have to go to the sidewalk. On road 100 you finally go out of the hotel. Then he encounters Markiplier the car David the explorer and his friend jackson Dodge the car. They reach the construction road where crasher chases them. Then Jackson and david the 2 explorers Parkour on the roads and dodge the excavators. Then they reach road 100 And finally go back home. And kills every entity
Chapter 12: Finally over
He tells the military about the doors hotel and then the military nukes it.
Chapter 13 Finally back
He knows that theres no more in doors hotel. So he goes back to his house in robloxity to sleep.

Hey, here's something i learned on my first run about the Lookman: you can look down, not directly and it wont hurt you. I always look down during my runs so the Lookman wont hurt me
also the name ''Lookman'' is just absurd
when I didn't know this, I raged so much when it appeared because whenever I got hurt and disappeared, another one would be either on the next floor, or just appeared in front of me like a second later 3 more times and kill me

4:45 You might be already aware of this but just in case you aren't, a vacuum is the definition of a space devoid of matter or (with very little matter). I believe they are referring to that kind of vacuum, as opposed to a vacuum cleaner (I believe vacuum cleaners are named after vacuums, though!) Perhaps you have heard of "the vacuum of space". Space is a near-perfect vacuum. Because there is so little matter, its pressure is extremely low. Because of that, if it is exposed to a space that has high pressure, the matter will be "sucked" from the space of higher pressure into the space of lower pressure in order to create a state of equilibrium where everything has the same pressure. That's why in-game when you stand too close to the door you get "sucked" into the vacuum.
Pro tip for people struggling with doors hunt.
#1: just like hardmode, when you enter a room, quickly look around the area and look down, or the shadow will hurt you
#2: there are only 3 entities, (blitz: just like rush/ambush, mostly sound que and sometimes lights), (shadow: looking at it deals damage), (haste: its just like getting a time over in a sonic game) (the void isnt a entity, its just opening a door into space)
#3: make sure to always get the levers you see with numbers, so you don't get a time over
#4: only go for the doors with a black box on them, going for doors without them could lead to you dying. its never worth the risk.
#5: its like the rooms where the deeper you're into it, the more darker it gets (you can't use a flashlight because this technically is before you even get to door 1 in the main game)
That's all the tips i have, good luck and get coins for the massive potion at the end so when your at the start, you can put it in the rift as a trophy for you to remember.
Edit: i forgot to mention, when you DO get a time over, before you die a red aura is around your screen, thats like a 10 second count until you get a switch, so when you are at 00:00 then you have to make it your main priority for getting a switch, because if you don't your dead.
It's okay to look down all the time, because that's literally the way to get past Lookman all the time.

Haste: Do not waste your time or he'll spawn and kill you, you will have a bit of time to find a lever if you're lucky.
Vacuum: This one is just funny because it's a fake room, you can evade the vacuum by just walking backwards.

Eh we should thank the hunt for making Doors update. I thought the game would die! So I think this mode kinda felt like a DLC cuz most DLCs share the backstory of HOW the main game happened OR shares the next story after the main game. Like Cuphead delicious last course! But anyway the Backdoor was quite fun in Doors it gives pro players a new challenge like me!
