YuB, just wanted to say that I really love and enjoy this series (and probably so do other people)! Just letting you know that this game is REALLY LONG so if you want to finish it you'll probably have to do around 8 episodes! Though please don't let that make you give up because this game has A TON of fun, backstory and lore behind it. And btw while I'm here, I'll give you some tips too! 1. Happy HP is bad... Trust me. If you think about it how the heck will 1 HP (every 3 turns on top of that) save you in any way? 2. Do not use ANY card that makes you loose 1 attack damage 3. If you're struggling to fight a boss (because there will be a lot of bosses as you progress) make sure to just use the map for fast travel (it's in your menu) and teleport to your favorite shop to buy items and cards (most of the time it's gonna be items) to help you! That's it for me, byee :D
Yub, you didn’t actually see some of the animations, like orange and choclate during combat when you were on low health as that overides the animation.
a sprinkle of tips :3 dmg increases from level, different weapons, items, and cards cure is used for support builds as you are able to play with other players healing while being mortally damaged can save yourself (damage ticks down slowly and more faster when you turn on hard mode) you can stack cards like minimize to buff the effect it does you can find cards that negate the downsides of a card like ball popping on spiky and sword being unable to reach flying (lets you get the most out of the baller and knight cards :3) linebounce got nerfed recently :< (dmg is divided by 2)
btw if you want the sword to be like the ball, there's a card called Sword Toss, it's in Bizville, when you teleport there, you can see a boarded part in the background, but you'll have to fight 4 rats, but it's worth it (and there are cards that increase damage, there's ante up, that halves the timing window and you won't do any damage if you miss the attack, and there's baller and knight, baller increases the ball damage, and the knight increases sword damage)
14:36 NO SPOILER: It isn't possible to gain more damage by stats on their own, BUT there is a card for attack up. So upgrade that BP and look through them shops! I cant tell u more cuz spoiler. Edit: does youtube literally unsub people??? For some reason I wasnt subbed
I have a tip to increase the accuracy of dodging, countering and blocking: when you encounter a new enemy, study how much time they take to attack. For example; the Hungry wolves attack pretty fast so you calculate what time to click in order to counter, dodge or block much easier. If coming upon a slower attacking enemy like the Snory bear, you do the same thing. See how slow/fast they attack and use it to your advantage. Hope this helped, YuB!
20:28 fun fact: this is a possible reference to bee swarm simulator, another roblox game's early beesmas (christmas event) in july, also called summersmas by the creator of the game
34:36 funny you mention that yeah that can happen in the beginning and its hilarious if you are playing solo and that happens so you just gotta run but yeah, attack power is quite a bit scarce in this game when it comes to attack increasing cards and the like, so dont let any of it go to waste if you can
YuB at 19:35 there is a secret passage behind the frozen waterfall if you go through it you will find penguin land! (You can get bux and the snowball card for the ball)
Am I glad he’s frozen in there and that we’re out here and that he’s the sheriff and that we’re frozen out here and that we’re in there and I just remembered we’re out here. 15:01
by the way in the settings there is an option if you scroll down to make it to where the music doesn't distort when you're low on HP so you can actually hear the bangin' tunes this game has to offer properly.
my favorite flavor is gold (you get it by donating, it’s in bizville) speaking of bizville, there’s a card behind some boards that allows you to throw your sword (solving the flying enemy knight problem) (also the game was made by a team of adults, i think the youngest person is a college senior)
The reason some of your cards disable something else or take away your attack power is because this game can be played in teams where different people specialize in different skills, but you can always just stick to being an all rounder for solo play.
Tip: if you give a magnifiying glass to Gros ( the big person at room 1 in The Ye Olde Inn ) you will get a very good item, dont waste it though! You can only get 2 of them in a run.
you can get a RARE CARD (won't spoil it but it involves bananas) from a 1.7% on (won't spoil it but a chapter 2 animal that likes bananas) and it's VERY unique (and good too) btw your videos are very beneficial to other blocktales youtubers like me, please keep making the game more popular :D
Between the first block tales video and this one I have played the entire game and am now actively trying to make all my friends play it because it is PEAK I've known about it for a while but thank you for making a video on it and finally making me play it lol
There is a secret card called sword throw in bizville (the starting town) called sword throw using it will make you able to attack any enemy in any order and choose your target
Yo Yub sorry for the “ummm actually 🤓” hints but it does make the game more relax. 1. Training wheels: it helps you learn the patents but it’s not something to react to. 2. Item’s: don’t be afraid to use items. Enemy’s drop those A LOT. 3. Bucks: the guy in the ally in the first town can trade very useful cards for bux. You should teleport to him from the map menu. Anyways, have a great day!
heres a tip for you Yub! Get distracted all the time! It might sound stupd but I played through the game without any distractions and I was so weak because I didn't search for any cards that could actually help me so I was stuck with basic cards. Also NPC dialouge is extremely funny in this game so you need to listen to everything! So if you ever feel weak, just search every single place for anything that you can find! It also just makes watching you more fun if you get distracted and find cool things. I also love to see your reactions to things and how you play! Good luck, you'll need it :)
Tip: If you walk into a part of the frozen waterfall in Roadtown (Around the right side) there is actually a secret with a good ball card that can freeze enemies called snowball.
Tips: - You can disable the distored music in the settings - If you don't want to fight against enemies, you can run away inside the battle, but beware, you have a 50% chance of failing first try and if you run away, you waste 10 tix - If you struck an enemy first but with dynamite instead of sword, you can do +2 damage instead of 1 - Shift allows you to cross trough dialogues quicker than normal
- There are two animation flavors that you can get, club (need roblox premium, i may be wrong) and gold (donate to blocktales by going to bizville and going to the guy with a suitcase and donate any amount)
I'm so glad you're enjoying this game!! I really like seeing you play games like these also by the way, there is a secret sword related card in an alleyway in Bizville that lets you hit flying enemies, which is great for the Knight card later on you get a similar card for the Ball in chapter 2 Love your content bro!
If you go back to the town you started in you can find an alleyway in the alleyway has a throwable sword, allowing you to kill flying enemies with the knight card the same applies when you enter chapter 2, there’s a card called cannonball for spikes
little tip: incase you didnt know, you can respec stats at the library. and also, there is a little zone in bizville when you teleport to biz, its called the pit, there you can refight enemies, i say it's good for rraining, but you only have a checkpoint each 10 floors. i also suggest mostly focusing on BP so you can get alot of cards, although i say 20-25 HP is enough, but that's your choice, great video!
also some cards i really recommend for atk up: Ante Up. Knight/baller. Three Charges which you can finf by using the wiki, but i dont recommend doing so if you dont want spoilers. Also, ante up halves your attack window, so yeah, its harder to hit, but gives +1 atk. i have a build that can deal 7 base damage without using any charges.
My favorite animation flavor is Red. Anyways, here aee some tips. -You definitely wanna get more BP and SP, You'll REALLY need it. -Sleeping in bed increases your HP and SP back to normal. -Using items that heal you in battle can be used also in the menu, items that don't heal get discarded. -The reason you didn't notice a item be in your inventory is because enemies have a chance to drop items, you can check the percentage for the items they give inside of your diary in the menu. -If you ever need more of HP, SP or BP but can't level anymore for the chapter, there is a library in bizzvile where you can deplate your upgrade of one of your stats for TIX, and can level up again for a upgrade by defeating stronger enemies.
If you head back to the Central Bizville, there will be a place which is barricaded and protected by rats. If you manage to swing at the boards, you can find a new sword card which will heavily benefit you later on! It's called Sword Throw, and will allow you to choose who you attack. Your ball pops, but a flying pointy sword does not.
Some tips: - there's a sword toss behind the hotel in the bizvile. You can press your menu and click the teleport to tp back there with ease. - happy hp is not good due to being almost useless outside boss fights because it may not active at all before you end a battle. - your ball cards deal +1 more dmg than the regular ball move (fireball and minimize that you have for example) Also hypno glasses reduces the accuracy of the enemies. Good for cheesing bosses
Tip: in Road Town, there’s a guy named “Gros” in the road town inn. He says he can’t fit inside of his room. If you go downstairs to the shop of roadtown inn, you can buy a Magnifying Glass, (attempts to shrink all enemies lowering their attack power.) and give it to him. He will give you a rare item in return which boosts your power by two for three turns! (Beware you can’t superguard / counter attack while using it, and can only block! Also use it wisely, as it can’t be dropped from enemies, or bought from shops.) Edit: EXTRA tip! Back at bizville, there’s a library you can go to, and if you’re unhappy with your level up stat selection choices, you can change your stats!
34:31 for your info yub there are alternative ways to hit flying targets with other weapons or just getting a card that allows you to hit them with your sword called sword toss, it’s located in bizville behind wooden planks located behind the hotel
34:31 to answer that question There's an attack for the sword called "sword throw" that's capable of throwing the sword (duhhh) towards flying enemies. No you don't lose the sword once you throw it but it does cost sp The location for the attack is located at bizville. Behind it you'll see wooden planks blocking an alleyway which contains that sword ability.
Here, you might need this tip: - Items that simply apply a debuff (sleeping, dizziness) may be good if youre supporting someone, but solo isnt the best. Instead prioritise items that deal damage to opponents and heal hp or sp in some way also no you cant play roblox on a switch 😭
Hey yub! Theres an alley that has a card back at bizville behind the hotel that has planks you can break with sword, and you can get a sword toss that hits flying enemies and can hit any enemy no matter the order!
34:33 there is a *card* in the game called *sword* toss which allows you to hit *flying* enemies and is mostly used in sword only builds (its located in *bizville* btw near the *library* )
34:30 there's a card you can pick up back in bizville behind some breakable boards that lets you throw your sword to hit flying enemies! this allows the Knight card (disables ball for extra sword damage) to actually be usable lol.
34:31 In the starting town, there's an alley you can go into which has a card that lets you hit flying enemies with the sword (There's also a similar card later in the game that allows you to hit spiked enemies with the ball!)There's also about five bux hidden around the town, mostly inside buildings, but most of them are hidden behind other objects or walls so you can't actually see them.
It's cool to see you giving the new cards you find a try, that Cure card is great when it comes to multiplayer. You seem to like using the sword! In that case, there is a card you can find hidden in Bizville that you might like... also my favorite animation flavor is rose :)
you can preview animations in the menu, you never had to enter a battle also theyre all references to other media, idk know some of em tho lol not to mention im pretty sure games like these are always made by a dev team, if you want a good game with a solo dev i recommend crossovers
fun fact: in the menu you can go to journal and go to enemy index there, the enemies you killed for first time will show up there, you can see their attacks and levels (there is an option in options that makes enemies instantly die if they are below your level, no xp though) you can also see what enemies can drop such as cards and items
Hi Yub. I’m gonna give you a quick tip for the ch1 main boss because you have ways to go before fighting said boss. They love to use the Freeze status effect. Which prevents you from moving, and deals one damage when it wears off. To my knowledge there’s no way to cure freeze while solo, so you need to get real good at dodging. Don’t be afraid to keep training wheels on. I still use them and I’m in chapter 3. Toodaloo :)
34:30 You can get a card in Bizville in a back alley near the top left of the main area behind a wooden blockade, it’s called Sword Toss and it allows you to use your sword to hit flying enemies!

2. Do not use ANY card that makes you loose 1 attack damage
I love this game so much, glad you get to experience it. Also very happy that this is how I rediscover your channel. Glad to see you doing well.
19:34 NOOOO HE MISSED IT!!!
a sprinkle of tips :3
dmg increases from level, different weapons, items, and cards
cure is used for support builds as you are able to play with other players
healing while being mortally damaged can save yourself (damage ticks down slowly and more faster when you turn on hard mode)
you can stack cards like minimize to buff the effect it does
you can find cards that negate the downsides of a card like ball popping on spiky and sword being unable to reach flying (lets you get the most out of the baller and knight cards :3)
linebounce got nerfed recently :< (dmg is divided by 2)
Can't believe he kicked dogs in the FACE.. What happened to YuB, man.
he did it in earth bound so yea
Cancel this man rn 😠
Its yub so its ok@JordynHonaker
Makes sense.
btw if you want the sword to be like the ball, there's a card called Sword Toss, it's in Bizville, when you teleport there, you can see a boarded part in the background, but you'll have to fight 4 rats, but it's worth it
(and there are cards that increase damage, there's ante up, that halves the timing window and you won't do any damage if you miss the attack, and there's baller and knight, baller increases the ball damage, and the knight increases sword damage)
20:28 fun fact: this is a possible reference to bee swarm simulator, another roblox game's early beesmas (christmas event) in july, also called summersmas by the creator of the game
no dude christmas in July is just a holiday some people celebrate
both people here don’t get the joke lol
i heard it from barny hanter tvelfe.
36:25 random fact about some of the animation flavors, Mint and Apple is actually based off Mario and Luigi! (I think)
lol the training wheels card is actually making it worse for you to learn the attacks, cause you try to click as soon as you see the exclamation mark
34:36 funny you mention that
yeah that can happen in the beginning and its hilarious if you are playing solo and that happens so you just gotta run
but yeah, attack power is quite a bit scarce in this game when it comes to attack increasing cards and the like, so dont let any of it go to waste if you can
dude im so happy ur liking the game and that ur still making vids about it
YuB at 19:35 there is a secret passage behind the frozen waterfall if you go through it you will find penguin land! (You can get bux and the snowball card for the ball)
I STILL NEED MY SCHMECKLES!!!!!
WE ALL DO
@@GoobilyGoobster I WANT MY SCHEMCJKLES
WHERES MY DOUBLOONS?!
YARRRRR
SHIVER ME TIMBERS!
Am I glad he’s frozen in there and that we’re out here and that he’s the sheriff and that we’re frozen out here and that we’re in there and I just remembered we’re out here. 15:01
by the way in the settings there is an option if you scroll down to make it to where the music doesn't distort when you're low on HP so you can actually hear the bangin' tunes this game has to offer properly.
you can also turn down the sfx volume to hear the music better in the settings
my favorite flavor is gold (you get it by donating, it’s in bizville)
speaking of bizville, there’s a card behind some boards that allows you to throw your sword (solving the flying enemy knight problem)
(also the game was made by a team of adults, i think the youngest person is a college senior)
The reason some of your cards disable something else or take away your attack power is because this game can be played in teams where different people specialize in different skills, but you can always just stick to being an all rounder for solo play.
Fun fact: when looking up block tales on google, the google ai overview mentions this specific video
Me boy Ye linked sword in ye Chapter 2 Give yer access to ye backside of ye long grass
literally a pirate
Cool Fact: if you give a magnifying glass to the big guy in the Inn, he will give you a pie!
also the girl with the cookie will give you a cookie if you dont have a full inv. (same with the pie guy.)
in 19:34 there was a hidden passage way through the waterfall or whatever it is (pls check it out)
Tip: if you give a magnifiying glass to Gros ( the big person at room 1 in The Ye Olde Inn ) you will get a very good item, dont waste it though! You can only get 2 of them in a run.
you can get a RARE CARD (won't spoil it but it involves bananas) from a 1.7% on (won't spoil it but a chapter 2 animal that likes bananas)
and it's VERY unique (and good too)
btw your videos are very beneficial to other blocktales youtubers like me, please keep making the game more popular :D
There’s no point in grinding for it, you get a better card guaranteed in chapter 3
Call ck is already better and easier to get then the other card
you basically spoiled it
@MisterE1611 NUH UH
@Steakable you lost your speaking privileges
Between the first block tales video and this one I have played the entire game and am now actively trying to make all my friends play it because it is PEAK
I've known about it for a while but thank you for making a video on it and finally making me play it lol
You get a custom gold anamation and menu flavor for donating to the game. Witch you maybe should do because it’s the only thing they sell.
If you donete to the dev's you get a new animation flavor go to bizville and donete to the Walk in the middle and find the guy who sells a donation
Anyways, have a great day!
training wheels didnt decrease xp gain anymore what are you on
@ oh yeah I just now noticed. I’ll change it. Thank you for telling me.
YUB THE DOGS WHAT DID THEY DOO😭😭
he did it in earthbound, now in blocktales
heres a tip for you Yub!
I literally was like "I hope yub makes a second block tales video" and 5 MINUTES LATER
Tip: If you walk into a part of the frozen waterfall in Roadtown (Around the right side) there is actually a secret with a good ball card that can freeze enemies called snowball.
A few hours ago i beat the final boss and beat the game i was so gosh darn happy
I'm happy for you sponge...make sure to eat your Reese puffs....or else
How many times did you die?
Hatred sounds strong I might need to play the game sometime 👍
@@neeshathompson5378 not rly that hard, but people usually run headfirst into the boss with no strat whatsoever so they get demolished
name-dropping the game’s latest boss in the comment section of a new player’s video is definitely a good idea and will not spoil anything
I freaked out when I saw this. I LOVE WHEN YUB PLAYS BLOCK TALES!
I would recommend to have others with you, because of what happened in the beginning! I could help of you want!
He won't let you help him, sorry 😞
Good attempt, though.
game gets too easy with people helping you
game gets too easy + ppl in party can skip dialouge expecially boss one
FUN FACT: When you find the bossfight "Komodo Dragon", the music in the backround hits SO HARD, and also another thing you are the coolest youtuber
i dont remember that
Back in Bizvill there is a guy that you can donate to to not only support the game, but also get a Gold anamation and Menu Flavor
Tips:
- You can disable the distored music in the settings
- If you don't want to fight against enemies, you can run away inside the battle, but beware, you have a 50% chance of failing first try and if you run away, you waste 10 tix
- If you struck an enemy first but with dynamite instead of sword, you can do +2 damage instead of 1
- Shift allows you to cross trough dialogues quicker than normal
- There are two animation flavors that you can get, club (need roblox premium, i may be wrong) and gold (donate to blocktales by going to bizville and going to the guy with a suitcase and donate any amount)
I'm so glad you're enjoying this game!!
I really like seeing you play games like these
also by the way, there is a secret sword related card in an alleyway in Bizville that lets you hit flying enemies, which is great for the Knight card
later on you get a similar card for the Ball in chapter 2
Love your content bro!
54 secs
If you go back to the town you started in you can find an alleyway in the alleyway has a throwable sword, allowing you to kill flying enemies with the knight card the same applies when you enter chapter 2, there’s a card called cannonball for spikes
little tip: incase you didnt know, you can respec stats at the library.
and also, there is a little zone in bizville when you teleport to biz, its called the pit, there you can refight enemies, i say it's good for rraining, but you only have a checkpoint each 10 floors.
i also suggest mostly focusing on BP so you can get alot of cards, although i say 20-25 HP is enough, but that's your choice, great video!
also some cards i really recommend for atk up:
Ante Up.
Knight/baller.
Three Charges which you can finf by using the wiki, but i dont recommend doing so if you dont want spoilers.
Also, ante up halves your attack window, so yeah, its harder to hit, but gives +1 atk. i have a build that can deal 7 base damage without using any charges.
massibe spoiler my guy pit is endgame
20:41 “you should check out this *little* shop right here!” *Me: Proceeds to comment about how big it is*
32:48 that's so pointless you could've just upgraded HP for the same effect
It's a bit more flexible since you can always swap the hp+ for another card , while swapping extra hp for BP requires going to the library and paying
It’s actually more useful to use the card version, as you can switch out cards at any time, allowing for more flexible builds.
37:02 if only there was a 3rd axis to walk on.........
12:37 “YOU WERE DRUNK”-yub
best quote ever
Some tips:
- there's a sword toss behind the hotel in the bizvile. You can press your menu and click the teleport to tp back there with ease.
- happy hp is not good due to being almost useless outside boss fights because it may not active at all before you end a battle.
- your ball cards deal +1 more dmg than the regular ball move (fireball and minimize that you have for example)
Also hypno glasses reduces the accuracy of the enemies. Good for cheesing bosses
LETS GO!1!1! The goat uploaded again!
I remember watching your MiiTopia videos a long time ago.
Also use it wisely, as it can’t be dropped from enemies, or bought from shops.)
Edit: EXTRA tip!
34:31 to answer that question
There's an attack for the sword called "sword throw" that's capable of throwing the sword (duhhh) towards flying enemies.
No you don't lose the sword once you throw it but it does cost sp
The location for the attack is located at bizville. Behind it you'll see wooden planks blocking an alleyway which contains that sword ability.
Here, you might need this tip:
- Items that simply apply a debuff (sleeping, dizziness) may be good if youre supporting someone, but solo isnt the best. Instead prioritise items that deal damage to opponents and heal hp or sp in some way
also no you cant play roblox on a switch 😭
34:30 there's a card you can pick up back in bizville behind some breakable boards that lets you throw your sword to hit flying enemies!
this allows the Knight card (disables ball for extra sword damage) to actually be usable lol.
when the mark is shown if you hold back 0,5 sec your dodge timing you can counter or dodge
34:23 item?
Also mr "my inventorys full" use you a items
Fun fact: you can hit the flying enemies with your sword, there's a secret card in Bizville that lets you hit flying enemies with your sword
If You tp to bizville and move to the top left (from the cameras perspective) break some bords there will be a prize waiting for you
you can preview animations in the menu, you never had to enter a battle
also theyre all references to other media, idk know some of em tho lol
not to mention im pretty sure games like these are always made by a dev team, if you want a good game with a solo dev i recommend crossovers
12:42 REMEMBER BRO USE YOUR ITEMS you can also use the. In battle and doing that always makes you go first for using an item
fun fact: in the menu you can go to journal and go to enemy index there, the enemies you killed for first time will show up there, you can see their attacks and levels (there is an option in options that makes enemies instantly die if they are below your level, no xp though) you can also see what enemies can drop such as cards and items
Yub I beg of you to keep playing this game, I promise you it gets SOO good!
Toodaloo :)
When you hear the training wheel's sound Cue, PARRY IMMEDIATELY, it plays right before you get hit, you can dodge/block by pressing EARLIER.
34:30
You can get a card in Bizville in a back alley near the top left of the main area behind a wooden blockade, it’s called Sword Toss and it allows you to use your sword to hit flying enemies!
There is a secret behind that place... 19:21
