I remember the controversy over this whole album when it first came out. I think most would agree now that there has been some time to process its it's a completely kickass album. Not their best, but amazing anyway.
Really no one gave that album justice! The 2nd law will always be special to me tho!
It is quite a funny phenomenon for me. I'm on the older side of life and despite all the music I've heard thru my life I never paid attention to Muse except for mabe Knights of Cydonia.
The funny thing is... now I am listening to ALL of their albums "at once", so to speak... and what has attracted me to Muse is their talent... but also their constant evolution, the corss-mix-jump-genres, and I see it as a very special gift they have.

It was written for Skyfall, but then Adele kinda ruined it by doing a song called Skyfall haha. It uses the same chord progression as the original James Bond themes, thats why everyone thinks James Bond when they hear it
