Sai Baba Festival!!! Since when did Sai baba became a Vishnutattva/Vaishnava Acharya or its representative. He doesn't fits the definition of even a Vedic sadhu. Better to preach and worship Radha Krsna under a tree than worshipping them in a Sai Baba temple.
What do you mean by shastric evidence? Mere Sai was born in almost recent times. Shastras were written much much earlier. Do you think millions of Hindus around the world who are worshipping Sai baba are dumb or what. You can worship what you want let others live with their own faith.

They were compiled (written) only at the start of Kaliyuga because in Kaliyuga people has low memory and intelligence. In earlier yugas there was oral reception system as people were srutidharas. Also which authentic Vaishnava or Shaivite or Shakta school accepts Sai baba??? Millions (rather billions) of people in the world consume liquor, meat, beef then that does imply that a genuine Vedic system follower disregards Shastric injuctions and start taking liquor, beef etc. Vox populi doesnt help in spiritual life.
