just found this channel because scott referenced it on his last video, this guy is a great interviewer! very thoughtful, and more questions than responses makes for a good interview too! great listener and well researched! keep it up!
You guys are 2 of my favorite TH-camrs!. Scott helped me with my wife's 50th birthday a couple years ago by writing a song for her. He's definitely a creative genius. By the way, my wife is INFJ....I'm ISTJ, and we always identify with your videos.
It's just amazing how you make people comfortable to talk about everything... I remember one of the episodes that the guy said "it's better to talk with you than my therapist"... 😅 I loved the part where you talked about parenting, I have 4 kids and I definitely can relate to the dilemma of how we split our attention between family, work and everything else... This conversation was pure joy ❤
that was really good! thanks frank! 😊 i feel like scott summed up this whole video at the end where he said its just good to be a part of this community of like minded people. ❤ for me, its great to see the struggles behind the scenes of content that i admire cuz creating alone always leaves me feeling a bit like well im having these problems cuz im not good at whatever when really everyone encounters the same problems. i have a quote that i love from mike dooley on the wall at my desk which says, "the one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field have in common is that they all began their journeys when they were none of these things." thanks again!
Thanks! Really enjoyed hearing Scott. Another perfectionist podcaster! My mind went a bajillion places after listening. I wrote a long serious reply this morning regarding his answers to your questions but didn't know if was too long and wouldn't go through since I wrote a jokey one to you last night that didn't work before listening just to put it in my history feed hearing 14 seconds where he brought up the Willy Wonka mannequin in the room and now having to find a new running gag which apparently he's familiar with according to his commenters albeit more literally. Never heard of him until this episode, so, from the outside looking in, could understand being confused over watching a running video unless it was health tips or something. I've only watched track on tv, and watched channels' help for stretch techniques but that's it. From this episode, he's got a great personality, and that is, imo, what's going to last in the long run especially since if he's going for sincere wholesomeness since like hearts and minds will attract, where it might be smaller but stronger, and that's the kinda channel I'd want to follow if I had time for more! Just heads up, I listened to this last night at around 3x speed multitasking since that's pretty much how I listen to any podcast just for lack of time, but I'm going to write this and then second post maybe because after hearing Scott's question and his gears turning being so thoughtful with his response to you: How can this be a positive part of someone's day? started thinking it was all connected with previous videos talking about limitations, "be yourself" authenticity, perfectionism...and comes down to imo the human heart communicating art. You know how the order is "1 hearts and 2 minds" since imo that is the most important thing to influence since that's only thing that's getting people out of bed to do mindful thinking which then causes the minor "heartbreak" for negativity like I was thinking for the movie criticisms he talked about where it wasn't helpful for his joy and maybe it was crabs in the bucket type stuff where it was just a bunch of intellectual flexing that wasn't aimed to help appreciate better quality or improve people's reasoning skills just playing on people's addiction to anger or making people feel sad for some sense of power/control...idk You guys talked about how your family is your priority so it's understandable why it's really important to guard your hearts from negativity if you don't think you have the strength to separate it due to using your energy to be more positive to be the strong rock fathers/husbands who your children are going to be watching as model with their sponge-like minds absorbing everything, which is why entertainers know to focus on putting messages in entertainment when people are on their downtime from work/school to get into their emotional hearts which informs what they'll be using their mind for...and, imo, look who is so emotionally vulnerable? The really intelligent nerds who don't exercise those muscles as well and may even replace using empathy with real people with fiction or music, which isn't a judgement; it could be because they're currently in a tough circumstance or have certain responsibilities that they don't have the opportunity to make connections and they're the ones that can focus so much on the more argumentative/negative since they don't have the awesome responsibility like you gentlemen do for your loved ones. Thanks again. Hope this made sense and you have a great day with your loved ones!
This is so wholesome!❤ A nice, relaxed and respectful chat between friends sharing experiences. Makes me feel like I am there with you. A very friendly atmosphere 😊
I couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance between Scott Cramer, and the actor Ray Romano 😃 is it just me? An outstanding conversation, once again, it's always appreciated to know how successful TH-camrs effectively nurture their creativity and maintain productivity, and also the struggles that they face before and after posting their content 😃 Regarding the negative slang words that you picked for the skit (which I enjoyed very much 😆🤣), in my opinion I believe a healthy dose of negativity is essential in crafting a comedy sketch. It pushes the boundaries, encouraging us to think creatively and explore beyond conventional norms. That is what I experience when watching your videos Frank. As for Scott Cramer, I haven't heard of him before, but I'll make sure to check his content. I kind of relate to the experience of changing opinions during the research phase of creating something. I believe It shows that we're open to growth and learning from different viewpoints. Understanding and acknowledging the possibility of changing opinions can lead to personal development and a more nuanced understanding of the world 💡 Keep up the good work!
LOVVEEE LISTENING TO SMART PEOPLE TALK this podcast literally feels like a reward 😭🤍 thank you guys so much for making my day. feeling really depressed lately but FJ always manages to light up my mood ... thank you 🤍
@scottcramer we appreciate your attention to audio! tbh (with love) when I heard Frank's mic I was a little disappointed and thought it was ironic that audio management was one of the first topics
5:38 @ Scott Cramer, I can't not do it either. lol It's actually part of the joy of editing something that you as a recording artist can be proud of knowing you went above and beyond. I can't stand channels when they don't watch their levels. It's lazy and inconsiderate to their audience when their adds pop up and blow out my speakers. Keep can't not doing it please, lol
I think what we all need is abit of imperfection, in our creativity. You know I admire what you do with your edits. But yeah I guess we do that times, it means something.
I do comics on a daily bases, and on Instagram I post, I do get misspell, it pulls my hair out when I post it and I see a mistake and I have to pull it out and redo it to get it right lol

LITERALLY MY TWO FAVORITE TH-camRS
It was enjoyable to watch. ☘️
Love the tone and the topics! Thanks FJ 🤗
