The Play is probably the best clipper out. Top 3 for sure. And nothing is close at $125. I have the LoPro, Play and have used the Rebel (sent it back). The Play is more than an Onyx in another body. It's a better body and blade set up.
BTW. I rock with your videos and don't knock your list. This space has gotten so political. Maybe it always was, but now it's out in the open.
It may be a better body ergonomically- but defs not a better blade... if anything its the same
@@Luke-wh9ru overall they are. The colors and coatings give the blades a different feels and affect how long they stay cool. The entire package, quality and price included is what I was getting at.
@@LorenzeWalker I never knocked Tpob buddy, nor said either was better- I have the x clipper too and its great. The colours would not have an effect on blade temp🤣. Yes the price is better on the TPOB.
JRL holds a patent on their blades... like I said if anything they are the same blade. And ergonomicical preference differs from person to person. There's some aliexpress clippers for the same as the PLAY that give em a run for their money at that pricepoint.
Not sure much about the play but I do know that Jrl has the battery reset iq and I believe its patent … so they have a great life span on the battery… I would say that very impactful and stands out ..
Tpob play is my current #1. Idc about politics or other factors just need a good clipper at a good price

Definitely a dope video I’m going to be honest this is Just my personal opinion and based off of my own personal experience. The only setup people should run to are the Babyliss FXONE Trimmer and Clipper. Customer Service is too tier and there’s literally nothing as quiet, precise and durable. Full Metal body the new blade (M.I.M) is fucking amazing it literally plows through bulk and fades with absolute precision the removal battery and interchangeable is a game changer especially since I do a lot of mobile cuts…. Oh and did I mention customer service???? Sheeeesh 😮💨 Babyliss takes care of their customers ✊🏽

@@jcramirez77 bro I’ve wasted sooooo much time and MONEY on buying damn near every clipper that has been released since 2021…. There’s nothing better at this point in time than the Babyliss FXONE system the clippers are powerful as hell dude I run through bulk with absolutely no problem my clients are mostly African American and I literally have not struggled at all on any of the thick curly hair not once!

Thank you for the video. Keep making them, feel free to share your opinion. You explain why and why not for you, people can decide if they weight the information the same for themself. Ignore the trolls. Some people are brand loyal, that's fine. I am not a Barber, but I do like to cut my own hair, take care of my own beard (or no beard) myself. I currently have a Peanut (yes, ancient) and a corded Andis T-outliner. I know I am ready for an upgrade because these won't do what I want to do. Hence, I am searching through TH-cam for what other Pros have to say about the current state of Clippers and Trimmers. I get the impression I would be fine with any clipper from your top 5, it just comes down to price and personal taste. Although there is a part of me that wants to get the best out there right now. I don't mind spending some money if the quality is there, I'll have them for a LONG time. Thanks again for your thoughts, keep the videos coming, even after I buy my stuff, there will be someone else in my shoes looking too.

The pillars that bias stand on are irrelevant, media report the facts, that's their job. You're openly admitting to dismissing tools due to a personal bias against the owner.. Choosing to act like the clippers don't exist isn't satisfactory if your goal is to inform barbers. No disrespect, that's just my opinion.

Another fair review nothing wrong with your choice I agree but for me jrl onyx still my number one but that’s my opinion I’ve learned that there is no product or tools for me to pick that will satisfy everyone because you won’t find it it’s about what makes you happy so now I pick for me not to please anyone so again good choice
