Wow that first level was pure art! The trolls were genius! Also, I love how it create intricate timers to change the level depending on door entries or just waiting. That's so sneaky!
The Yoshi Inn was great. The random fish from blocks is a dumb yet also hilarious troll in it's simplicity. Can't wait for a sequel!
And the Zelda level is maybe one of the best exploration levels I've seen in recent memory. Good stuff!
Also, when you 'learned' something it was a glorious edit. Almost felt like you were standing on a podium, doing your speech and afterwards getting a round of applause, haha.

In the Ice Temple escape, there was one area you never actually explored. Up the spring and to the right, there's a series of spikes you need the Winged Booty to cross, leading you to a Starman dispenser. Using a Starman from there is the intended strat for opening up the Thwomp's donut block delivery service.
16:30 I kind of expected the launchers to crush you into the ceiling there.

Dang I stopped watching Carl long ago and this is my first video in a while. This is pure gold! I've been missing out on so much!
mario maker idea: a series of levels that streamers play through, meanwhile the viewers make the levels, but each of them only get to place 1 block. if there aren't enough viewers they get to place more blocks each. theme gets chosen via a poll or by random number generator.
You make Mario x8,000 more fun than it was ever intended to be without even being the one playing
That puzzle house with the giant fish in all the question mark blocks should've had a payoff at the end where you have to hit the block with the fish in it in order to beat the puzzle

This is my first time watching your vid and I am gonna subscribe you are awesome
For that last puzzle in the Yoshi Inn... hit the p-switch while in the room with the p-switch, then wait until the p-switch timer has just a second left and go back through the door. The mushroom will go to the right because the conveyer is still stopped, but the switch runs out after it bounces off the wall and before it falls in the pit. The coins turn back to blocks, and the mushroom comes out normally.

its only when these vids are uploaded that i realized i missed the stream. i caught it once, and it was a glorious 5 hr youtube video.
