I was really hoping this was one of the newer 2019 black pc boards Blues Jr. IV versions. I am really failing over & over attempting to find a set of these new 2019 black board schematics. If years able to find a set please reply with directions to get a set.
I'm just about to change the valve board on my BJ, so I found your video at an opportune time. I got the one with the heater wires twisted and soldered on the top of the board .. I'd already done a bias pot mod to address that issue. I agree the treble is an issue. In fact I have mine at '1' .. That's with the bright cap snipped out ! It's a trade off if you mod to much, (in my opinion) as the standard amp does a really great job for the stuff I play (Rockabilly/vintage R'&'R ) and I wouldn't like to alter too much apart from making the treble pot usable. Thanks for the vid.. Are you a CB'er with the Rubber Duck thing there ?
@@RDamps Yes, a very entertaining film. It was responsible for a surge in UK CB users .. I was already on amateur radio by 1978 (G8HSO), but used to chat on the 27 Mhz AM bands with those getting equipped with CB radios at the time.
Hi - Around 5:00 you mention googling something about the ribbon cables to reduce noise. Can you help me understand what to search for? My English to USA English sucks! haha. But seriously - can you help?

Are you looking for some P.C. board that is actually black in color?? I hope that nomenclature is just some street jargon.
I'd be interested in seeing g a vid on your mods for the blues jnr. Great amp after a bit of work...
I’m sure I’ll have another soon
