Chad- Great review! Your friends at Peavey love you too! Thanks to you and the whole team at CA House for your support of Peavey and taking the time to shoot this sweet video. Yes, that Reverend is awesome too! :) Many of these features are also in our newest tube amps as well, including the Classic 20 Mini Head, 6505 Mini Head and coming soon the Invective Mini Head.
As a owner of this model, I can't recommend it enough, also the speaker breaks in really well (inspite of what internet would have you believe, I tried mine with a celestion G12T-75 and swapped it back out within the day, the original speaker just has a certain mojo).
I own this amp and I basically bought it for the clean channel, and lemme tell you it's Epic!!! The cool thing about is, it has plenty of power to run a 4x12 cab very well, and easily switched back to the combo single built in 12 so yeah it's extremely versatile also you can bypass the amp and run straight to the house PA system if you're playing a big show or use the single built in 12 or use it to run a cab like I do, also the usb in to the computer works great, I bought this amp by accident, basically I wanted a tube amp but didn't have alot of cash, but now I literally use the crap out of it!! Super awesome amp!!! No joke
I have had this amp for 3 years. For the price nothing can touch it. The overdrive channel is too harsh for my taste. I tried to tame it by using different preamp tubes but not much change. It takes pedals well so a Fulltone GT 500 on the clean side for distortion and overdrive makes this amp rock. Great review by the way.
I'm exactly the same. I use a fulldrive ii and just stick on the clean channel. Gig it every week and you can hear every note in any venue. It's awesome, I've changed to Celestion on mine which I'd recommend
I ended up trading up this amp and kind of regret it but it's OK. This amp was amazing for sure. The clean was extremely good and the distortion was as high gain as you could ever want. The price was amazing for what it provided and in memory it was just as good as my current Blackstar ht 40 (6l6 tube version even like this amp!)
@@CAHouseMusic It's strange, i mean its normal that you hear a click, when you press a button. But this one sounds click twice when you press the Channel select button..
Just talk like a regular person. You seem like a good guy, Speak like you are talking to a friend of yours, not like a salesperson trying to demonstrate a product's features.
Don't buy if you intend on gigging. Just bought mine a month ago and totally unusable. Sounds nice, very flexible and does what this guy says. However this amp is totally unusable for gigging because it's disfunctional when it comes to channel switching. There is half a second delay before drive channel engages. You're about to hit the first note of the solo and there is a mute on the very first note. I return 3 footswitch, ordered the original peavey footswitch. Same. Even switching with the front panel button there is a delay. You're playing comfortably numb in front if the crowd and on the very first iconic note of the Lead you're being muted. Makes this amp useless for gigging. Peavey should pay attention to basic details.
Mine came with a footswitch brand new in the box along with the amplifier. My father died and I took this from his estate along with many of other pieces of gear, new and old. You might get a deal on a Valveking floor-demo model at the loss of the footswitch. Good luck and keep practicing.

That app is really cool but I am amazed by the finish of that guitar!!
I agree with Chad, The Amp sounds Killer, but Damn, The Guitar Looks Awesome.

The 2nd input tames the drive for me , hope that helps
I love this amp too. Very versatile, and amazing tone.
That guitar is killer!
the actual demo starts at 3:25 for anyone who wants the demo and not an unexpected review for half the video

Hello. When i push the button to the Channel select it does like a double click, is that normal?? It doesn't do that on the other buttons.

Tone does not come from the tubes it comes from the speaker😊

You love that shity speaker came with?
Mirol ITISNOT for MEROOOOOOL!
Killer? You need to put a new speaker on it try a vintage 30
I was hoping you’d played better than talked 😂
You're not a good enough guitar player to display any of this.. Get somebody who can play and it will make a huge difference..
Do you want to sound good change that freaking stupid speaker
You talk to much
Well, I took over the channel back in January and I talk a lot less, so I hope we didn't lose you as a subscriber haha! -Jonny
Learn to play before you demo equipment. I don't think you are doing Peavey a favor.
