Menzies Aviation *I think( had a driver/fueler posting on Indeed at a CA airport. The pay was 30/hour. Considering the qualifications required including security clearances I thought that was laughable.
How can someone survive on $25 an hour working full time? Not in this economy. With a family to feed. 40 hours a week is full time. That's only $1000 a week before taxes. After taxes its than less $4k a month. Rent alone in the Bay area is $3k minimum. Food + transportation + cell phone + a few other bills this is not enough. The wages are not keeping up with inflation. Full time living wages need to increase by probably 25% or more. But billionaires will never accept a smaller margin themselves. They never take a wage cut. The blue collar workers are always the ones living with less.
Also there is 8 weeks of training. All planes fuel different it's not like a car. They have different fuel systems and capacity some are easy the bigger the plane the harder it is. But they only put experienced people on those
What do you mean? It's like a car airlines can choose by specific options they prefer from the manufacturer such as fuel panel placement of the aircraft has multiple spots it can be. I am telling you for a fact that all of the a319s for AC here in Canada have the panel in the wing as well as many a320s as well.
did you accept the job and is it difficult for you? Is it worth accepting that job for that money if it is hard physical work under various weather conditions ?
@@ljupce5114 Are you looking for this type of job? Go for it,there are a lot "super rampers "on here! This is a basically easy job if you pay attention to the senior rampers(10yrs or more)! You might work hard one day and do nothing the next!

For 13?? Where are you located, I'm looking into the same job for 24/hr in canada
Airbuses have panels on the fuselage!!
Some actually do as it's a option for the airline. Many air Canada a320s and a319s have it in the wing
@@zach4162 Please explain how an airline has options on aircraft! I've refueled 3 aircraft in numerical order, 2 had panels on the body! One in wing!

20.50$ in chicago
Is that full time?
This shows nothing of the job! You state low wing aircraft have panels on the fuselage! Then you show an Airbus being refueled!
