Here’s the thing for me, in my 43 years I have been a country music fan. I was raised on Ronnie Milsap, Johnny Horton and some newer artist. I am flabbergasted that you are not a constant #1 singer/songwriter. Your music and sound is the closest to country music than I have heard in over 15 years. You have the guts just don’t get enough glory. Please always remember that their are people out here who put your music on repeat and love your family. Any way I can contribute to continuing your dream and getting the sound of country music out further and further I will always try to do! Proverbs 4:25-26

43 here, raised on Ronnie, George, George, Tanya, and so many more, and I'm right with you. Granger is sorely underrated, but sadly, as with the world today, Godly people tend to be passed over because the world wants the easy way to what's fun and feels good.
I agree. I was shocked when local stations were not playing his music ad much as other Artist. Any chance I get I blaring his music on repeat.

@@sherrieduncan3801 I work IT, but right now I'm doing a LOT of work where I can play music, so I bounce between a few Pandora options, Granger is the most played, although I have an Alan Jackson station based on his gospel album, one based on Disturbed's Sound of Silence, and one for classical, but I always come back to Granger, and if Pandora decides to not play him, I just play him on TH-cam.

I had to work at the hospital today and it was my birthday But I’m ok with it I’m glad I could be there with patients who couldn’t have family with them because it made my heart feel good ❤️🦋🎈

I love fasting. I’ve done it for about 2 months now. I try to stop eating by 6pm and don’t eat until 12pm the next day. It’s amazing. It makes you feel so good all around..body, mind, health...💪🏻🙌🏻

There was a lightness to this video that I just felt the entire time. Something about their smiles and calmness was just amazing! I really love this family and love watching their videos, they have been through so much. For them to open up their lives to us and show us the good, the bad and the ugly is something they didn't have to do but they chose to. For their own home movies and to inspire people who need to be inspired, who give hope to people who need hope, to give a reminder of grace to people who need grace, to keep people laughing, to keep the healthy conversations flowing and most of all to stay rooted in God. Thank you all for brightening so many of our lives with your videos! I can't wait to get my autographed CD I ordered as well! Still makin my way through the new album and really have been enjoying it! Anything like me and workaholic are great songs! Honestly, these last few months have driven home, for me, that God is in control. My Grandmother got sick, but got better, although is sick again but recovering again. I had to go to hospital but am fine, my family is secure, I still have a job as does my Dad, so I just have to make myself stop and breathe, then remember, God has this. Thank you for being here regularly, as you also remind me of this. God bless you all!
Sometimes the roots have to catch up for the tree to grow. I feel that is what this year has been for me. It applies to me, my family and this country we live in. Everything just needed a reset so we know to appreciate what we have

We got together with part of the family. This was the first thanksgiving dinner that I cooked in 10 years. I had a lot of fun doing it and the food was great. It is getting bad in close areas. Hospitals are full in city's with the virus and even in the smaller towns surrounding the city's.
I'm from Illinois and I know from St Louis to Chicago the virus is hitting everywhere!😔

I found you because of Keeping it Dutch. Thank you for sharing your story. I also lost a three year old son. So I cry with you when you are feeling your lose and I remember mine, who died from an accidental fall 58 years ago.
My mom, husband and I drove from Little Elm, TX to Georgetown, TX to have Thanksgiving with my brother and his family. My daughter that lives in Austin came up for the day too. It was a wonderful time and guess what, nobody got sick, good times were had and memories were made. We will be together in some fashion again for Christmas soon. So proud of you finishing the Bible. I finished the new testament a month ago and I finished the old testament Thanksgiving morning. ARE YOU BOTH UP FOR A CHALLENGE? Mom and I do the complete Daniels fast for 21 days in January. Normally we start on the first but we may start on the 2nd this year but 3 weeks of eating veges and fruit and drinking only water. No coffee or sugar free drinks. Just water. Are you up for it? Also did you find Ezekiel hard to get through? I think that was the hardest for me. Instead of waiting for the new year I may go ahead and start it over. It's the third or fourth year reading the Bible through and every year I always find something new. GOD bless all of you.

I struggled with this episode after your opening remarks...It isn't the news media pleading with families not to get together for the holidays, it is the doctors and nurses on the frontlines desperately trying to save lives while covid units and ICUs are filling to capacity. Keeping safe and lowering your risk of covid helps them. There will no doubt be families who unfortunately spread this terrible disease today. Yes, family is the most important thing and we ALL want to be together, but the doctors and nurses need our help. I just wish more people had their eyes and ears open to what these warriors in the hospitals are telling us.
I couldn't agree more with you. My respect for them just went down so much. I did not see my family outside of my household today because the next time we can gather safely, I don't want anyone to be missing. COVID is real and I love my family and friends way too much to potentially spread it to them. And I care about the general public and strangers as well. That's why I do my best to slow the spread. As for the Smiths, I hope you guys continue to stay safe and healthy.
@@mariathielen7581 I just felt a complete lack of empathy for what the Doctors and Nurses are going through with that statement. In my city, they are now having to fly patients to hospitals two hours away because all the ICUs are full. If skipping a Thanksgiving and Christmas meal with my family this one year can help in anyway, I will do it.
@@KBinSTL Yeah I agree. Hospitals are running out of space. It’s terrible. But somehow some people still don’t think it’s a big deal.

Without the valleys we have to walk through, the view from the mountain top would not be as magnificent. I am thankful for surviving 2019 with the loss of our grandson and then 2020 with covid and quarantines. It has brought us closer to each other and closer to God. And oh what a beautiful, joy-filled morning we have to look forward to!

When we have families, our top priority is to provide for them and that's what you are doing...good for you for finding new ways to do this during these crazy times! I have learned over the years that you can never do anything that will please everyone, and to try making everyone happy increases anxiety and self-doubt. Do what pleases God and makes your family happy and secure. And to those being critical, there is a handy-dandy little exit button that allows us to leave a page we find offensive. It's genius! Just discovered your family this week and love all you share with us so freely. I am a humble follower of Christ too and I consider finding you guys this month a great Christmas present from our Savior. I'm from Utah but currently working in Del Rio, Texas. My Grandma read the bible cover to cover and started over. In her later years she got an award from her church for reading it cover to cover over 50 times and she kept right on going.
I have said this year happened for a reason. It made a lot of things that were set in comfort get reevaluated and redone. It has let a lot of us sit down for a minute and look at how we do things. Going to listen to vol 2 now.
6 string stories, Anything like me, and Buy a boy a baseball, were my favs. All of them were great though. As I listened I realized was picturing your back porch and your family from The Smiths, and that the music is more meaningful to me from having seen the people and places that inspired it. I'm thankful for the example you set, Granger and Amber, and I pray God continues to bless you and your family. Yee yee!

We are grateful that we have the grown children that we do. I have a dear friend who found out this morning her 3 children and their husbands and children were gathering just 2.5 hours away. They didn't tell their parents and didn't include them. They spent the day being incredibly hurt. They put on a good front for her mother but it was rough. I invited them to join us but they chose to stay at home. We were then going to take my pies and go have dessert with them but my back, that I broke this summer, went out. So I spent the afternoon with a heating pad and my back brace.
We love your music and we enjoyed your concert here at Sunfest in Ocean City, MD, in 2019. We sure you come back this way soon. I will be ordering the new CD.
I live in Oregon. Our Horrible Governor said we couldn't have Thanksgiving. She actually went as far as to say..... "Everyone needs to UNINVITE guests and make sure to report your neighbors if you see people over at their house." So I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family. You know what... this might be the last Thanksgiving I have with any of my family. I'm NOT going to let fear or my Governor tell me I can't be with my them. I hope everyone had a very happy, thankful, love filled & family filled day.

Granger, your song Dirt Roads is one of my all time favorites. It takes me back to my childhood on our family ranch learning to drive on those dirt roads. My grandpa who passed away in July this year was on of my teachers and mentors. You and your family are awesome keep up the good work and keep your faith in Christ he is our redeemer and savior. Look for the insulated overalls may not be big help since Earl will be in tank top , but I presume that between takes you will be covering up. I use them when working in the refineries and gets super cold. Under shirt and FR button up with the insulated overalls removing jacket when gearing up with tools and harness
